My favorite pokemon Series, the original games (Blue, Red, & Yellow version) Redesigned JUST ENOUGH to please the NEW crowd, BUT old school enough to please THE FAITHFUL OLDER FANS (Like me)! PS: NINTENDO, please don’t CUT BATTLES MORE THAN YOU HAVE ALREADY WITH THE WILD POKEMON. I UNDERSTAND THAT IT WAS TO SAVE THE HASSLE OF CATCHING POKEMON, BUT THAT WAS ACTUALLY HALF THE CHALLENGE, AND A PRETTY FUN EXPERIENCE IN MY OPINION! Now it’s a little TOO EASY... Yes even for the younger fans... Anyways, Thanks.

Old school done in a new coat of paint but it is an alright version of the first game but not as great as the original game.

The game was better than I expected. I appreciate the graphics and storyline. It's nice to finally see move animations from my team too!

I was very hesitant to purchase this game but am extremely pleased. There are no wild pokemon battles. Those got replaced with the Pokemon Go mechanics, however there are hundreds of trainers along your path for full Pokemon battling. Very good.
