If you played the Red/Blue versions as a kid then you will love this game.

The game is more about catching Pokemon than battling, but it's still a fun updated twist on a classic game. Wish the pokemon stayed more true to their original elements though as well.

Bought this for a 9 year old for his birthday. The graphics are nice, and the game play is mostly going around battling trainers, and capturing Pokemon. I wasn't sure that I would be impressed since it is similar to Pokemon Go, but in hindsight, it is a lot of fun, and I will probably buy the accessories as well.

Be all you can be ... get out there and catch all the Pokémon in this awesome game. I’ve never played any previous version but this is all I wanted plus more. Gotta catch them all!!!

I got this for myself and my girlfriend got into it as well. Really easy to get the hang of, and it's great to just jump in. Fun on the go or on the TV. Fun game on the Nintendo switch.

This is the first Pokemon game I have bought since Gameboy Advance. I missed out on the DS generation. I'm glad I didn't miss out on this new game. Really enjoying visiting Kanto again.

Having played the original Yellow (Blue / Red) when i was a kid, this brought back alot of memories. Some minor changes to the game however I liked them all. Graphics are great!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this game, but I was pleasantly surprised. I've been playing since the OG games, and these are a nice spin. Excited for the Gold and Silver versions.

This is a great remake of pokemon yellow with modern gameplay. I lost track of the whole pokemon timeline so keeping it gen 1 was a smart choice since its what most are familiar with

I loved playing Pokemon Yellow back in the day. This Switch version takes it to a whole other level. Very easy to play even in handheld configuration. The controls are perfect!

I grew up with pokemon and this game hit home run for me. My nephew loves it more than I do. Great for kids if you want them to get off your back for a few hours.

Kids played the non stop when we got it. Overall really enjoyed it. Thing there is probably some expansion they would enjoy but cooled on the game.

I haven't personally played this as I can't pry the system out of my son's hands but he's enjoying it. If you have younger kids or grandchildren, I'm sure that they will enjoy this.

Nostalgia 5 stars. It’s a great revamped red, fire red version. The soundtrack and gameplay of the Kanto region is updated to 2010s technology.

A great game to play with kids. Easy to play but with a lot of content if you if really do want to catch them all. I'm not a huge Pokemon fan but I'm enjoying the game with my kids.

A ton of call backs to Pokemon Yellow, but different enough to still be engaging. I did kind of miss the original battle wild Pokémon to get XP, but other than that it was perfect.
