A fun title for casual play

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As a fan of gen 1 Pokémon this game really gave a nostalgic feel especially since I watched the show growing up and overall enjoyable experience and the gameplay is solid too and I like the connection that you build with your pikachu as well. Being able to pet him alone makes me want to give the game 5 stars.

Great for Nostalgia

It obviously has newer effects and graphics but everything is the same. I was afraid when i read about leveling up pokemon and throwing the pokeballs. But really it's not that bad! It's still easy to level up your pokemon. Definitely recommend. Still not sure how I feel about the Sword and Shielf coming out soon.
