Very fun and addicting. This might be a hit or miss on some players who might be hardcore pokemon fan, but for someone like myself who has not played a pokemon game since red/blue this has been a lot of fun and addicting to keep playing and farm for more pokemon.

A nice remaster of the original games, with functions of the Pokemon Go app for catching the pokemon rather than fighting them. Enjoy being able to see what I'm attacking before i fight it. Great game for both beginners and people who have been with the series for a while.

This is a good addition to the Pokemon franchise. It is my first time playing on a console and I have enjoyed it. I found it pretty easy, although the motion controls can make it a bit hard at times. If you swap to hand held catch mode you won't have to worry about that.

I love this game, it is fun and offers a good amount of gameplay. You can always train and catch more Pokémon to find the best one. The integration with Pokémon Go can help you grab pokemon not in your version of the game. They only thing I dislike is that in TV mode your have to use a single joycon of the pokeball plus that is extra. I would love to be able to use my pro controller but this game doesn't offer that.

Amazing graphics and gameplay for beginners. Love that you can see the Pokémon out in the while. Though you can’t level up by battling wild encounters you can battle trainers and gyms and it’s the same as it’s always been. I also like the coop mode. Def recommend to all.

It is the same game from before I was in middle school, if you like Pokémon, you will definitely be into it, it is slightly disappointing they didn’t go the full extra mile for what the switch is capable, but it is truly the first competent home console Pokémon RPG!

This game is beautiful, it's incredible to walk around have the Pokemon just be there. It's refreshing to not have to grind so much to get the Pokemon you really want! Don't fall into the trap of listening to people that are too negative about this game. Give it a try!

I used to play the yellow red and blue on the game boy. I really like how they stuck with the original and some new Pokemon and kept it simple and classic with a few modern things. I like playing on the switch better than the TV as catching Pokemon seems a bit harder.

My 7 year old loves this game. It’s perfect for this age and, when paired with the pokeball controller make for a really fun experience. It’s just the right amount of difficulty to keep his interest. I also enjoy playing with him a little bit too!

A great reimagining of a Gameboy classic! Graphics and sound have been updated but they still have that classic Nintendo and Pokemon charm. I haven't beaten it yet but so far it's been worth every penny.

This game stays true to the original 151 and kanto region. Mechanics have changed with no battling of Wild pokemon and no random encounters. The game feels very familiar, but is extremely easy due to new mechanisms. Worth the buy if you are craving pokemon.

This game definitely blew me out of the water. I thought it was going to be way too easy, but honestly it was just about the same difficulty as some other Pokemon games, and the new mechanics were a great way to breathe fresh life into a classic iteration of Pokemon.

This game is almost exactly like the old gameboy games except obviously better graphics and you can see the wild Pokémon on screen as they roam the tall grass, etc. Also, catching Pokémon is almost exactly like Pokémon Go. Still a fun and addictive game!

I fell in love with this game because it makes your Pokémon Experience Seem so real! Graphics are really good. Pickachu is the best, cutest side kick you could ever have! I Highly recommend this Game. Great for single player only, not for multiple players.

Fun game. Nostalgia. Personally I believe it’s a small downfall that you don’t battle the Pokémon to catch them like in the original game, you just catch them like in Pokémon GO. I play Pokémon GO pretty much everyday on my phone so I don’t really feel like having to catch them the same way in the game. Otherwise the game is fun.

First, this isn't the same as the one you played around '98. It is a revamped version wich does not have HM (instead they have techniques), does not have the safari zone, does not have the PC (now you have everything on the bag) and most important the wild pokemon are not battled, they need to be calmed and then you throw a pokeball (very similar to pokemon go), gym battles and battles with the NPCs are still there, a really good addition is that someone can join you as a support trainer and they can walk with you (but no interactions with anything) and battle with you (assist you) which is pretty awesome since I am introducing my 4yo daugther to pokemon and I can show her where to go or help her with the battles.

Loving this game, I have completed it and the game plays beautifully. I can highly recommend this. I am not a pro gamer and the difficulty was not too hard, so it should be fine for kids too.

If you play Pokémon Go (phone app game), and have access to a NintendoSwitch (console or lite), use this Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu to act as a companion game to the app. This game will help you obtain extra/additional candies for MelMetal (Pokémon monster) that is an advantage exclusive to players who have synchronized their Pokémon Go app to this NintendoSwitch game.
