Customers are saying
Customers find value in the engaging gameplay and nostalgic elements of Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!, particularly enjoying the innovative Poké Ball Plus controller. Many appreciate the game's ease of use and consider it fun for players of all ages, although some find the price point a bit high and the Poké Ball Plus somewhat small. The simplified catching mechanics are a point of contention for some, while others wish for a more challenging experience. Overall, the game is praised for its charming remake of a classic, but opinions vary on certain aspects of the design and price.

Nostalgia I Never Experienced
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am way late to the Pokémon train. However, this game is fantastic and I love the casual nature. I’m excited for a new core game, but Let’s Go definitely feels like a true Pokémon experience. It’s beautiful and feels like the originals with the slight change of not battling wild Pokémon.

Great retelling of a classic experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't played since Pokemon Yellow, that was my last time in Kanto. This new game captures the fun from 20 years ago while also making it easier for those new to the series to enjoy. I thought the Pokeball Plus gimmick would be tiring, but I honestly can't imagine it now without it.

Great Bundle
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This bundle saves you about $10 when buying both items separately. I enjoyed the game as it provided a nice sense of nostalgia with a fresh breeze of innovative twists. The game introduces some new aspects like catch combos and catching system, while also removing some diversity in move sets. You can complete the entire game (elite 4, not master trainers) + Pokedex in about 40 hours. My least favorite aspect of the game is the catch mechanics of the Pokeball plus and the ease of syncing with Pokemon Go. The Pokeball plus is fun at first, but quickly becomes annoying because of its inconsistent tosses. Syncing with Pokemon Go is difficult because of the Nintendo Switch's unstable wireless communication (Bluetooth?) to smart phones and lack of adequate instructions. The Pokeball Plus, however, is very useful when using it with Pokemon Go. Not if it's worth the entire cost if only using for this purpose. But if you do plan to use it with the game, I say it is a good buy.

Fantastic bridge game between Go and mainline
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very fun game if you like Pokemon. It's not quite a regular Pokemon game and definitely not like Pokemon Go but it's somewhere in the middle which makes it fun for newcomers and old fans alike. Great battles, fun catching mechanics and HD visuals make it a great package.

Has my hubby hooked
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my husband because he told me he used to play it long ago. And was so excited about the added poke-ball. He is constantly playing it and takes his switch to work to play at lunch. He thinks it is fun and I’m sure anyone that played before would love it as well.

A must for any collector
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been playing Pokemon since it landed in the US. I know people have their doubts about this game, but give it a shot. It's not just Go on the switch. I'm looking forward to playing this with the kids and picking up the mainstream game whenever that comes out for the switch.

Perfect edition to the Pokemon franchise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is amazing and even though it lacks the battling Pokemon aspect for wild Pokemon I honestly don't miss it all that much. The new catching mechanic takes some getting used to, but I like not running into Pokemon I don't want to run into. All in all this game is great.

Great for introducing someone new to Pokemon
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is most likely not for the hardcore fans or those who have only played the mainline games. The wild random encounters are gone and replaced with roaming Pokémon. Each is equally as enjoyable! Leveling up is done through battles and catching Pokémon. Give it a try!

A perfect intro to the Pokemon series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a longtime pokemon fan, I thought that the 'dumbed-down' mechanics of this remake would make the adventure much less enjoyable. But instead I found that the new changes serve to streamline the more tedious parts of the journey, and are a welcome addition to the formula.

Poke Ball Plus makes it feel real
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my teen son who says the Poke Ball Plus makes it feel like you are actually inside the game like a real Pokémon trainer. He really enjoys playing the game. For me, the bundle made it easy to buy ensuring he got everything he wanted to play the game.

Fun for All ages
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son and I have enjoyed playing this game together in the Co-op mode and I am getting to go down memory lane as the game is a clone of the original games from game boy with some minor differences for the switch. I highly recommend the game for anyone who likes Pokemon.

Great Nostalgic Adventure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoyed the nostalgic trip that this games represents. All the updated visuals look awesome and the battle mechanics remained the same (which is great). Reimagining Pokemon Yellow.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Growing up I had the yellow, pikachu version, of the gameboy game. When Lets Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee were announced I instantly preordered my copy. I love the feel of the Pokeball plus when catching Pokemon or just walking around. The way the game can connect to my Pokemon Go account so that I could transfer my existing (gen 1) pokemon, was excited. It felt amazing to explore the Kanto region, once more, in this new graphic style.

Lots of Nostalgia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game definitely blew me out of the water. I thought it was going to be way too easy, but honestly it was just about the same difficulty as some other Pokemon games, and the new mechanics were a great way to breathe fresh life into a classic iteration of Pokemon.

Very good game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far Loving Pokemon Lets Go been playing a lot. Basically is a remake of Pokémon yellow and most of the core mechanics are still in the game. The only mechanics removed is battling wild Pokémon, items held by a Pokémon & Pokémon abilities so far to my knowledge.

Great game with the Pokeball
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is a great adaptation of Pokémon yellow without random battles. I really like the pokeball that comes with it since it acts like a controller and step counter/Pokémon leveler. Warning to everyone that the pokeball is really small so it might now be for all.
