I have only played the game for about three hours with my 3 year old... she was having a blast throwing those poke balls. Lots of nostalgia, totally worth it. Thinking about grabbing eevee bundle also...

I can see why the fans would stay away from this. But this game is fun. Like Reggie said, "If a game is not fun, why bother?" This game is fun and I think people shouldn't be stubborn and play this game.

If you've been a fan of Pokemon games this is a great game for you. It just like the Nintendo game boys, DS games, just waiting to see if Pokemon releases another game just a bit better than Pokemon go.

I went into this thinking removing random battles would be a bad thing. I'm happy to say I couldn't have been more wrong. Catching them the way this game does it feels 100% less tedious than past games.

This is a remake of Pokemon Yellow that I played as a kid and I love just how much better it looks now. It's great for all ages and the Pokeball that came with this version is awesome as a controller.

Such a good game! Just like the original pokemon games that were on the gameboy color. So much fun and I love having the pokeball controller! You also get a special box for a one time use that get mew!

I love this game! It's a lot of fun and it's a great time killer. I'm not going to say this game challenges you but it is adventurous! The graphics are amazing. Comes with a nice pokeball. Easy to use!

Our son had heard that this game was not very well done. We purchased it for him as a gift anyway. We all found out that the game IS really a lot of fun and challenging. Definitely worth purchasing.

A beautiful remake of the original pokemon games for the gameboy now on the Nintendo Switch. New and updated controls and gameplay that will make any player feel like they are really catching pokemon!

I wanted to relive the first pokemon game in a much more updated 3d environment. So far I like the details and graphics, aside from the camera view, I say it, okay, meaning you can't rotate around your character. This is a great bundle if you still have GCU which is even better than buying it separated. With GCU, you saved a lot more than buying it separately. The main reason for this bundle was for the price, or if you are looking for the poke ball plus. It is a great way to experience a pokemon adventure. I wished they had redone the pokemon battle where you encounter the pokemon in the grass and you have to battle them with your own pokemon then you can catch them with a Pokeball. But instead they just let you throw a Pokeball at them to catch them instead, which is nice but at the same time gets boring. The Pokeball plus controller has 2 buttons, one in the middle top of the red portion and that is basically a back button, the analog stick is to navigate through the game. I wished they had added more or reconfigure it so you can also exit out to the main Nintendo switch screen instead you have to use a joy con to do that. Overall it is a great game for old or new pokemon games, can't wait for the next Pokemon RPG game.

If you love Pokemon, you should get this game, hands down. Don't listen to the negative press that they changed everything and made it super easy. The game looks gorgeous and you still battle trainers just like you did in the original games! Items and abilities weren't in the originals, so it makes sense that they aren't in this game. Also, wild pokemon in the overworld is one of the best things in a pokemon game and it should continue in the series in the future. Trust me, this game is awesome and the pokeball plus is a very cool addition! I definitely recommend this to everyone who played the originals so long ago and also for newcomers as it just makes everything so easy to pick up and play.

What can I say, This brings great memories as a child playing the original pokemon games RED and Blue! Going back to Kento and replaying my game from the beginning is a must own for any pokemon fan

Purchased this for the game and Pokeball plus. I was able to use the pokeball plus with Pokemon Go. So it was a huge added value for me.

If you own a switch you definitely want to pick up this bundle. The game itself is fun and easy for everyone to join. The pokeball is also fun to use with the game but also works with pokemon go.

The next line is supposed to be "like no one ever was", yet this is very much like an older game. Pokemon yellow. This brings back so much nostalgia, and yet brings so many new and exciting features to the game! The Alolan forms you can trade for, the catching system like pokemon go. They took all of the best parts of all the past games and made something new and fun. Your pokemon really is a partner. If you play with your pikachu, in battles, it will do things out of love for you to help turn the tables on the battle! And the pokeball plus is lit! After a day of work, sitting at my desk, I can generate an absurd amount of EXP for my pokemon I took for a stroll the night before.

This game is awesome! Easy to play and to just spend hours just flying by. The pokeball alone is worth the purchase if you play pokemon go. I prefer to use the pokeball over the GoPlus.

Let's Go is a remake of Pokemon Yellow. The game offers some really good new features to the series while removing a few. It's the first time ever the series is in HD and with the Switch, you can play it at home or on the go. Overall the game is a little easier than past games which may be a turn off for some, but I think it's a really fun time.

This game is a lot of fun for all ages. The Pokeball Plus controller makes it even more fun. This game involves a lot of motion control, but not to the point where it’s annoying and too gimicky.
