I bought this for my son who love Pokémon. He plays the game and really likes it. However, the ball controller is sort of gimmicky and he just plays with the joycon. It would probably be best to just buy the regular game and skip the Pokeball version.

I've recently bought it for my boyfriend and he loves it ! I love it I play it when he isnt , kinda the same as the original one

It is super fun being someone that has played the main series since red, blue and yellow this was a breath of fresh air to play.

This game has been great and really takes me back to my childhood, playing Pokemon on my Gameboy. It's fun for the whole family!

You may not need the poke ball plus controller to play this game but definitely adds to the experience of an already great game.

I recommend this game to all Pokémon fans regardless of what your preconceived notion is. This is a great return to Gen 1. The visuals and music are fantastic. The setting is familiar yet exciting. It’s certainly an easier game than others, but it’s a welcome relaxing experience sandwiches between the large RPGs that I’ve been playing on Switch and Smash and Gen 8 yet to come. There’s even several mechanics in Let’s Go that I hope Gamefreak carries along to future entries. So try it out! It’s a blast

This game is great. I played this when I was 12 and it is just like the very first time with improved graphics and mechanics.

Even with the changes they made in gameplay from the original games it is still a great game. Easy to play for beginners also.

This game is my childhood relived. Updated with the Pokemon following you around and not having Hms anymore is a good addition

So this remake of pokemon yellow is good my only complain is the catching system it sucks in my opinion but everything else is great this would have been a 5 star rating if it wasn't for that should you buy yes you should great nostalgia game

Definitely not my childhood Pokémon game, but worth the buy! Not battling with wild Pokémon is a bit of a bummer, but overall the graphics are great, it’s still the same story line as gen 1, and if you’re a real Pokémon fan it’s worth the play. Walking around and choosing wild battles is pretty nice, but if you’re a fan of playing games with a controller like I am, my recommendation is to play with the joycons attached to the switch, as opposed to playing with one joycon or with the Pokeball plus.

If you love Pokémon, it’s a must get. Great new feel and the pokeball is an awesome addition that also works for Pokémon go!

If you have played the original games you will get a wave of nostalgia as all the familiar songs and pokemon are encountered.

I love pokemon and my kids love it too. This game has reached their expectations of a fun game that keeps them entertained.

So much like the original game from the nineties was a pleasant walk through the past recommend to any old or new pokemon fan

This game is a cute new take on the old Pokemon Yellow. It has different game mechanics but it is still fun and entertaining.

The pokeball plus is a bit awkward to use in the game but it's great with pokemon go. As for the game, especially if you played gen 1, it's a new but familiar experience. Both versions are about the same but Eevee seems to be more versatile.

Good entry in the series for new players and people who played the past games. Great for people who don’t have time to grind

Pokemon on the switch - good alternative until the new Pokemon released in 2019, hopefully. Good for any Pokemon Go lover.
