Really fun game!

The kids love how they can each have a profile for each game regardless of how many cartridges we have. The Pokeball controllers are really fun to use and double as "fidget" devices when out and about with a Pokemon "inside it." I would definitely recommend the game. Great preview to a new "full" version of the game next year?

Good basic Pokémon game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you enjoy the first generation pokemon games and/or Pokemon Go, you will likely find enjoyment in these games, but if you are a fan of the more complex mechanisms and newer pokemon of more recent titles, you might find it to be a little bit lacking. This is a good Pokemon game for first timers as well, because it teaches the basics without getting convoluted.

Getting Used to New Game Features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been playing Pokemon games since Red and Blue so the fact that this game was modeled after Yellow really excited me, but there are some new playing features that I am not sure if I like. I love the buddy Pokemon feature and the Pokeball that pairs with Pokemon Go is great and I love that I can now play Pokemon go without staring down at my phone. My problem with the game is the new "Pokemon Go-style" catching. You only get to battle special Pokemon like Snolax, all others you simply throw a Pokeball and berries at like you do in Pokemon go. I miss battling wild Pokemon and earning exp that way.
