Customers are saying
Customers find value in the engaging gameplay and nostalgic elements of Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!, particularly enjoying the innovative Poké Ball Plus controller. Many appreciate the game's ease of use and consider it fun for players of all ages, although some find the price point a bit high and the Poké Ball Plus somewhat small. The simplified catching mechanics are a point of contention for some, while others wish for a more challenging experience. Overall, the game is praised for its charming remake of a classic, but opinions vary on certain aspects of the design and price.

Fun and relaxing game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A really good remake of pokemon yellow that is casual friendly. I bought this for my girlfriend and she is enjoying playing it very much.

Fun nostalgic game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a remake of pokemon yellow and playing through again brings back memories of staying up late at night playing on the gameboy. Pokemon has finally made the jump to better graphics and I do like that there are no more random encounters. You catch pokemon the same way as the pokemon go game on phones.

Fantastic Game for vets and newcomers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a remake of Pokemon Yellow in the Kanto region. This game has so much appeal for people who have played every pkmn game, or for people who played yellow or red and blue and haven't played since. The game is great, the soundtrack is amazing, and the game includes all the first gen pkmn (the most iconic).

It's Pokémon, What's not to Love?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A fun nostalgic game worthy of a triple AAA remake. Worth the purchase. Wouldn't recommend the pokeball. It's a bit wonky to play with.

Fantastic throwback and great starting point
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pokemon let's go Pikachu and Eevee are the most accessible Pokemon to date. The games only include the original 151 Pokemon, and introduce you to the mechanics in East to grasp ways. I love the new capture mechanics, even as a long time fan. And the pokeball plus is something childhood me could only dream of

Pricey, but fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The big issue here is you’re paying $40 for the controller that is really only good with this game and for a Mew that comes with it. I can’t imagine playing this game with a Joy-con and it being as much fun. The game itself does not take long at all to beat, and the post-game content isn’t all that enticing. The game itself is fun, but I don’t feel as if I got my money’s worth. Also, the Pikachu version is a lot easier than the Eevee one just because of the electric attacks and how many water enemies there are.

Average game, gets repetitive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I grew up with this series and had fond memories. I also play the pokemon go game, which was a big reason for picking this up. The game itself looks great and is fun.....but in small doses. Playing for more than 30 minutes at a time gets boring. The game itself is repetitive and the main reason you want to push along is to get far enough in to the game to be able to trade with your own pokemon go account.

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game. Immersive responsive and fun. Pretty upset about no battling though. That was a Crux of Pokemon when I was a kid.

Seemed like a great idea
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm rating this a 3 because I paid extra for the game to get the included Poke Ball for playing and it is mostly worthless. It is more difficult to catch Pokemon with the Poke Ball versus the controllers that come with the switch, or just in handheld mode. The game is good but kind of tedious so we haven't even played through most levels. We prefer to play Pokemon on our phones.

Fun Game for Beginners or Experienced Pokemon Fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a remake of the Pokemon Yellow Gameboy game from when I was a kid. The graphics & Pokemon look great. Although instead of battling Pokemon before catching, you just throw at them (like the safari zone). But there are still battles & Gym leaders. Enjoying playing the game so far.

Great game, pokeball a bit difficult to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy using the pokeball, but it is not the best way to play. The joycon is sufficient. Game itself is worth purchasing.

Fun for all levels of Pokemon expertise!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been playing Pokemon for years, since Red and Blue was on the Gameboy. It was refreshing to revisit Kanto in this new game and stick with the classic 151. I like how simple it is, so I don't have to battle unwanted Pokemon, and my younger cousin can play without difficulty.

Fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s great to see Kant’s updated after all these years. It’s fairly easy but it doesn’t take away from the game for me.

Poké Ball Plus adds a lot to the game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn’t know that much about the Poké Ball Plus before purchasing it with the game. However, it was very easy to set up and very easy to get used to using it with the game. It really adds a lot to the overall experience of the game and makes you feel more like a real Pokémon trainer!

PokeBall Plus is worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn’t expecting such a close adaptation of the original. Great fun just wish there was a higher difficulty level.

Good Pokémon filler
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though this is not a continuation of the series, it is a fun game to play and has great controls and dynamics.

Meh..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game, if you’re 10 or under and have loads of patience. I bought this in hopes that it would be a great RPG for the franchise of Pokémon. The game is extremely frustrating to play. You’re constantly being stopped by NPC’s to battle throughout it. The game developers hooked me in with the hopes of reaching a park to trade Pokémon from the Pokémon Go App/Game director into the Nintendo switch Let’s Go game and being rewarded with a mystery box to catch a rare and elusive Pokémon in the Pokémon Go App/game called, “Meltan”. Problem is, this park you have to reach is obviously near the ending of the game as I’ve logged hours upon hours and still haven’t reached the park. The let’s go game is sub par at best. The value in this purchase to me and as a fan of the Pokémon Go App/Game, is the Poke Ball Plus which doubles as not only a controller for the game, but a companion for the Pokémon Go App. It allows me to store a Digital Pokémon from the let’s go version inside and will track steps, spin photo discs at poke stops, and allow me to catch Pokémon in the wild with the simple push of a button making it very much easier to play Pokémon Go. There’s little risk and when I transfer my digital Pokémon back Into the Let’s Go game for Nintendo switch; I’m rewarded with being leveled up for the Pokémon i chose to take out for a stroll and candies and various other items.
