Customers are saying

Customers find value in the engaging gameplay and nostalgic elements of Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!, particularly enjoying the innovative Poké Ball Plus controller. Many appreciate the game's ease of use and consider it fun for players of all ages, although some find the price point a bit high and the Poké Ball Plus somewhat small. The simplified catching mechanics are a point of contention for some, while others wish for a more challenging experience. Overall, the game is praised for its charming remake of a classic, but opinions vary on certain aspects of the design and price.

For years we've wanted a proper Console Pokemon title, and while this is not a "new" core title. It gives us a clear picture where the 2019 Pokemon title for Switch will go and the future has never looked brighter.

My my kids love this game. The pokeball plus is a fun accessory to use. Only downside is the ball is a bit small for my big hands, so I can't use it for an extended time without cramping. It's perfect for a child's hand though. I bought both the Pikachu and Evee versions.

    Pokemon Yellow in HD

The game is essentially Pokémon yellow in HD. And the new catching mechanic is welcome, especially with the experience going to all Pokemon. Since I am a working adult, I don’t have to time to grind level ups on Pokémon like I did back in the 90s, so it’s most appreciated. I loved the poke ball plus because the HD rumble is very realistic and makes you feel the Pokémon shaking inside. Great value bundle, you have $10 off the poke ball plus if you buy this.

I'm glad I bought this combo for the price. My grandson is teaching me to play with the Pokeball and make it thru the storyline. Plan on purchasing Let's go Evee for the companion features not in Let's go Pikachu. This is a good game for all ages. (9 & 49 playing this)

Skeptical at first but love the game

I was extremely skeptical of the idea of catching wild pokemon to level up but I've come to prefer it. It's a great way to enable people to play the game how they want instead of fighting unwanted pokemon or running away. Should be fun to see people speedrun eventually.

They did a good job of simplifying the core mechanics so this is a great game to get a younger player started

A strong entry in the series

It should be made explicit that this is not aspiring to be the next entry in the core series of Pokémon games. This is a spin-off with some excellent ideas set in a region that remains comfortably familiar even to those who have played through it several times over.

Got this game for my son who is obsessed with Pokémon. He loves it. He’s 7 and loves anything that has to do with Pokémon but I also play it. I love it! This is my first time playing anything pokémon and I find it very entertaining. Great game for young and old...er.

My son got this for his birthday. He loves the game & I'm glad we were able to purchase the bundle because it helped to save us a little money if you're wanting the pokeball to go with it you're better off to go with the bundle. No complaints & one happy 10 year old!

If you played pokemon yellow on the game boy color, this game is pretty much a super nostalgia remake of it.

This game is great for pokemon trainers, is a remake of the original that brings new graphics and some extra charming things in between. If you are a POGO player I think the value of the Pokeball is worth the bundle, I use it more than the original pogo plus.

Does a good job of cutting out filler from the original Pokemon games. I enjoy the game because it blends both the classic Pokemon yellow formula with the newer catching mechanics of Pokemon Go and it allows you to transfer Pokemon from Pokemon Go into your game.

This is the best way to revisit your childhood experiences with Pokemon, and this experience has enough depth for veterans and newcomers alike. Plenty of battling, and I love the pokemon in the overworld.

Coming from an individual who has never played Pokemon or Pokemon Go, I did find this game enjoyable. Graphically it is a nice looking game for the Switch. If you are looking for something easy, try this game. It even provides a co-op type experience as well.

Pokemon yellow was my first game I ever had, sadly the saving battery was dead so I would play the game all the time, beat Lt. Surge and then save the game. Just to do it all over again, and again and again. Now I beat him without having to lose my save file.
