Those that enjoy the Pokémon games and television shows will find a lot to like about this game. It has a simplified control scheme that makes it easy for anyone to jump in and play.

I played Pokemon Yellow as a kid and this has me so nostalgic for that. The remake was done so well, the music haunts child-me and has me transported to my younger years when playing.

I haven’t played since my Pokémon yellow days and I jumped right in like the old days but with some new tricks, and besides smash and Zelda this is one of the best games for switch.

It is the original trio of gameboy games but with a new era of graphics. The game overall is much simpler and "Easier" to enjoy, but brought with it alot of wonderful memories. 4/5 though because the game has alot of issues connecting with your phone which was another way for kids to interact with their pokemon go accounts.

Kids had to have this game. Glad we got it for them. They absolutely love it. So much so, I have yet to get my turn to play it. The Pokeball controller is a neat addition as well.

It’s Pokemon yellow with newer graphics and a different capture system (Pokémon go). It’s fun and nostalgic, but I prefer having the original fight system when encountering wild Pokémon. Seeing them instead of getting random encounters is awesome though. No more encounters with zubats in caves (unless I want to capture them)!

My son played this game and then I started playing too! It's a fun game. I don't like trying to catch the Pokemon by making a throwing motion so I play in handheld mode. My son can store a Pokemon in the ball and level it up. He can also use it to spin PokeStops and catch Ponemon in Pokemon go. It works well.

A little bit expensive but the kids love it!!!!!!!

If you grew up with Pokemon, or even if you didn't, this is a great addition to the series. New mechanics, graphics, and fun for the whole family. I would highly recommend this!

Fun game overall and brings back lots of memories!

I thought this game was going to be a baby pokemon for kids new to the series, but it's actually a really good pokemon game overall! The only difference is the catching, but I would say it's actually an improvement! My only criticism is that the long-term play value is low for me, just like all other pokemon games.

Love this game for Nintendo Switch! So glad I opted for the package with the poke ball controller. Adds an extra dimension to the game and was definitely worth the extra money.

The Pokeball controller is a bit awkward to use, but it's pretty well made. Note that you can only play without motion controls in hand held mode, and you can only use joycons.

After being a big Pokémon go player for about 6 months this game sparked my interest and I enjoyed the interactive features especially playing with the poke ball.

I have bought this for my son Tk go with his new Nintendo Switch he is getting for Christmas. At 17 he still loves Pokémon but doesn’t want anyone else to know he still does!!

Well the game is very good and the ball takes some getting used to but once you learn the control and how to throw the ball it's very fun but challenging.

My kids are loving the game and also the pokeball device that comes with it... its now easier to catch a pokemon and pokestops and the ablility to transfer pokemon to the game
