Customers are saying

Customers find value in the engaging gameplay and nostalgic elements of Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!, particularly enjoying the innovative Poké Ball Plus controller. Many appreciate the game's ease of use and consider it fun for players of all ages, although some find the price point a bit high and the Poké Ball Plus somewhat small. The simplified catching mechanics are a point of contention for some, while others wish for a more challenging experience. Overall, the game is praised for its charming remake of a classic, but opinions vary on certain aspects of the design and price.

They really ended up loving the game. For someone who grew up playing the originals and even the newer ones, this game still manages to capture the same fondness of adventure.

Let’s Go was a pretty divisive proposition from the start, taking a traditional Pokèmon adventure and incorporating catching mechanics from the mobile game GO. I’m happy to say this was not as jarring of an experience as I expected it to be, but the game overall is an unfortunately sterile experience. The game presents almost no challenge, no unique or substantive game altering change to the formula that I couldn’t help but feel bored and unenthused about returning. The catching mechanic makes leveling your Pokèmon too easy, and the experience gained from battle is so slight it’s makes the act practically superfluous. The game art is crisp, but nothing special like the Sun and Moon games’ cel-shaded aesthetic. The Pokè Ball Plus is a fine, simple controller that confoundingly cannot fulfill all the necessary button inputs of a standard controller when in game menus.

I remember when I used to play this game in the game it color, had lots of fun back then. Now it’s nice to see an undated version of that game that I can play with my son...

The game wasn't bad. Pretty cool the way it was redone overall but the gameplay was very watered down. Coming from playing all the previous Gameboy games, this game doesn't do the pokemon games justice. It's just too easy. Good for kids I suppose.

It's just like the originals only downfall is you can't fight pokemon in the wild anymore only catch them but you get good experience for catching pokemon so it's worth it

Awesome version of the original games. I like the different ways of playing and the updates they made (besides graphics) were great and the graphics looked a lot better.

If you've played games such as Feel the Magic XX/XY on the Nintendo DS and John Woo's Stranglehold on the Xbox 360, then 'Let's Go' has nothing to do with either of them.

Really fun game for all ages. I really enjoy the new catching mechanic from Pokémon go. The poke ball accessory is cool to use with both the switch game and Pokémon go.

This game is challenging enough to keep adults interested but not so hard that kids cannot play. Great companion to Pokemon Go. Wife and I have been playing like crazy.

My grandson asked for the game, but was excited with the added bonus of the Pokeman ball controller really made his birthday extra wonderful. He won't stop playing it

This Pikachu was not for the inexperienced. It comes with 2 instructions books. I ended up having to put it together for my 10 year old as he lost complete interest. Great item, once put together it’s beautiful!!! Not for playing, it is more of a display item or super gentle play. Hope my review helps.

As Pokémon has grown as a series, I’ve sometimes felt left behind or even stuck in my memories of older games. I’m less interested in catching them all these days, or massaging specific stats into my perfect fighter. Let’s Go allowed me to live in its world without the grind.

The game is great. This "glorified remake" is a refreshing change to the Pokemon formula. The Pokeball Plus is a bit small for adult hands, but it does its job well.

Won't know if everything's in great shape until my daughter opens it for her birthday. Seemed like a good deal at the time. She's always enjoyed all things Pokemon.

Overall this is a great twist on the Pokémon franchise and the included controller lets me relive my childhood nostalgia. However the campaign is too short and the activities after you beat the Elite Four just feels tedious rather than fun.

great addition to the pokemon family. If you are as addicted to the mobile game as we are, the thought of having a "real" pokeball to play with is VERY appealing.
