    It plays exactly like every Pokemon game since Ruby and Sapphire. If you are tired of Pokemon, this WILL NOT reinvigorate your love for Pokemon, in my opinion.

    Traditional gameplay mechanics are back in this version of Pokémon. Very slow developing compared to past games. Too much hand holding for me.

    Purchased for my son and he really enjoys it, but just like all the Pokémon games it runs it's course in a few weeks and he gets bored.
