Great remake for a great game

New mechanics like Mega Evolution and the new Pokémon and updated story gave this game a new enough feeling that I didn't feel like I was replaying the old games.

Honnen revisited

PokeGear apps bring very useful features, like representing uncaught pokemon in each route as a shadow on the map (replaced by the picture of that pokemon once caught). Scanning for rare move sets is also a welcome feature of this pokegear radar.

The Pokedex is ever growing and it was a very nice gesture of the developers to remake this game to better fit where this series has reached at this point. One of the few exceptions where I'm actually fine with remakes.

If you're a fan of the series or are on the fence about getting these I'd certrainly recommend it! It'll bring back memories if your an older fan, and if you're a bit younger you'll enjoy them just like the others!
