Despite bugs, I think the game has made some leaps and bounds to a true open-world setting and yeah, it's not my favorite gen, but I wish I had my favorite gen in a game like this.

While it saddens me to say this I kind of regret buying Pokémon Scarlet. With all the bugs and glitches it has this game shouldn’t have been release to the public yet. Even if this was a non-issue the gameplay feels like a huge downgrade from Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. Everything from the subpar plot to the massive nerf in difficulty, having what I can confidently say is the worst Elite 4 and Champion ever created in the franchise’s history Shiny hunting is a huge nightmare to do as there is no indicator to show if a Pokémon is shiny or not besides their outward appearance…. And seeing as how most of the new Pokémon’s shiny forms are barely any different from the original color palette it is quite easy to walk past a shiny Pokémon without even knowing it. I am also disappointed with the massive downgrade in character customization options. The players will be stuck with only 4 different school uniforms to choose from which are all visually unappealing to me, with the only changeable items being the bag, socks, shoes, gloves, hats and glasses. Unless there are free massive updates to improve the game I highly recommend spending your money on a different game.

Super fun game! my partner is loving the open world concept from Arceus without the pokémon literally attacking you. Great choice for those who found Arceus to be too intense

This is a game I bought for my sons birthday. He tells me it is a great addition to his other Pokemon games. I have seen him spend hours playing it for lots of enjoyment.

Purchased this game for my son and husband and they have been playing non-stop! The game has so many features that everyone can have their own unique way of playing the game.

Pokemon scarlet and violet is a great look at what pokemon could be in the future with updated hardware and proper love & care to ensure it arrives as a complete package , instead of riding the wave of the “Pokémon “ namesake. The stepping stones are there but it falls short with many graphical issues, bugs, dated graphics and overall poor optimization. I have though enjoyed my time within the world of Paldea as well as the new pokemon, I look forward to what the future of pokemon may bring.

The graphics are not actually good but now I have your attention. This is the most fun I have had since pokemon soul silver. Great game and bad performance but worth it all.

Havent finished the gane yet but its a newer take on pokemon which is resdreshing. It is true there are bugs and performance issues but nothing game breaking that ive come across. Do i regret buying it? No. Could i have waited to buy it? Probably yes. Some things i wish were better. 1) the overworld pokemon are too freaking small. I cant see what they are when hunting for polemon. 2) the map seems a lot of empty space. Thise are my biggest two complaints aside from the bug and performance issues

Great game to pass time, needs better options on online events, and was a bit too expensive with the dlc purchases.

Open world pokemon just like I remembered as a child but now truly immersive and open to walk, see, and catch many pokemon from many different generations. Must have!

It is an incredible game you can see the Pokémon in their habitat while you are walking it is an incredible experience for children and adults I recommend you buy it

Love pokemon but this game has performance issues. The gameplay is very fun like always and has a great endgame! The fps leaves something ti be desired though.

It's been enjoyable to play. I haven't seen the glitches everyone talks about but I feel it's been some slow play. Still enjoying the franchise 25 years later.

It looks amazing and its really fun I haven’t played a pokemon game in a long time and geting back on to it with this one makes it so much better i highly recommend

I bought this game on release day and have been playing nonstop . Highly recommend to pokemon fans. Game is a mix of Pokemon Sword/Shield+ Pokemon Legends Arceus.

It was a great game, fun and certainly a massive improvement over sword and shield in my opinion. It is a shame that it has so many performance issues though.

Game is super fun! There are times, especially with water involved, that the game runs at like 10fps. However the gameplay and story make up for it imo

Under all the various bugs, glitches, and performance issues... Scarlet and Violet are good games. I feel like I got my moneys worth of enjoyment out of it.

Great game. I bought it for my cousin for Christmas and watched him play it and made me want to buy a switch just to play it. I highly recommend the game
