I haven’t seen any of the “game-breaking” bugs that many have been complaining about. I have seen poor renderings, occasional lag, and an overall visual experience that would leave most desiring more. Which is a fair complaint. But this is the most fun I’ve had playing a Pokemon game in a long, long time. Theres so much to do and the storyline(s) kept me enthralled til the end. Just make sure to close the game (instead of suspending it) and you’ll be fine.

Fantastic pokemon game! It does have quite a few bugs that some people may feel is game breaking or ruins the immersion. I didn't come across too many of these in my 1000+ hrs in the game.

Pokemon its always the best game to get with more open is a no brainer

There are real problems with the game and slowing down, and as is normal for Pokemon they're removed good ideas (and Pokemon) that were in the previous game (Arceus.) However this game is still quite enjoyable and let's you wander almost everywhere, taking on challenges at your pace and in what order you like. The stories may not weave together well, but on their own are all welcome in the game.

Could use a few patch updates to fix bugs, but it's still fun and a good change of pace.

Pokemon Scarlet is a thrilling adventure! Fresh storyline, new Pokemon, and captivating battles. Pokemon Scarlet's performance is a letdown. Lag, frame drops, and occasional freezes hinder the experience. Disappointing for a highly anticipated game. Hoping for updates to address these issues.

Ii am personally really enjoying the game and the open world concept. That being said, there are still alot of glaring issues like perfomance and the cities in the open world just dont feel all that “alive”. I an also rarely in the cities and spend most of the time in the open world. Hopefully a patch can fix some of these issues.

Best pokemon game in terms of gameplay and fun factor. Bugs need to be patched though

As someone who last played Pokémon silver this was an amazing experience and can’t wait to see what Nintendo and the creators of Pokémon do next to really expand on a open world immersed experience

Great game and current latest version out so far. Map is big and side quests are great as well. Love the fact that it is compatible with the new switch 2 console.

Overall solid game when it came out it had some bugs but its pretty solid now

Bought this game for my nephew for Christmas and within a few hours I could tell it was one of his favorite gifts this year. He was playing it on and off the rest of the day and then the next two days after whenever he had a free moment. I heard a lot of mixed reviews on the game, but honestly watching him play it mad me want to buy a copy for myself to play.

Overall this game was an adventure however lots of things could have been done better, like how I’m assuming they didn’t add shirt customization to save time, but it was still a huge inconvenience. Overall I enjoyed the stories versatility. Being able to ride your Pokémon is a great exploration mechanic and saved me a lot of time that could be better spent.
