Good game, its just the switch cant keep up with it since its been out for over 5-6 years (2022) it still runs and is just slight frame drops but….

Been a long time since i played a pokemon game, they were getting to be all the same. This is my first on switch and the graphics and story are great!

I clocked well over 40 hours in this game, glad I got the physical copy too so I can play it on either of my switches.

Game is great and like the open world idea of it but sometimes the framerate drops and doesn’t run as smoothly but overall great pokemon game ☺️

My son loves this game. In fact, he likes it so much that he now wants to buy the other cartridge as well. I get the company wants to make money, but I just wish they would make both games on one cartridge or that they were just so both as a package deal. I don’t know too much about these games, but I know it looks a lot like the last one that he got two years ago, and the one before that, and the one before that. Nintendo is on to something with his Pokémon stuff. I’m happy to make a family friendly game. It doesn’t require blood and guts.

The game has its glitches but with the day 1 patch it corrected most of them. Overall the game is extremely enjoyable and the story is amazing.

Great Pokémon game since Sword and Shield. The gym battles and Pokémon boss battles are a great addition to the game. While also needing to battle the local gang. The ending is super unexpected and great.

this easily can be a 5 star game but not in its current state.. hopefully patches are incoming.. that being said im still having alot of fun with it & they’ve introduced some fun new mechanics… and of course finding and catching Pokemon never gets old

So far, the game is alright. I’m not “deep” deep into it, but until they patch it it’s kind of glitchy still. Hilarious, though not what you’d want out of s game. Not sonic 2006 glitchy, so it’s absolutely playable by all means

I originally ordered this game and after waiting, I was told by Best Buy that it was lost. I contacted support and they offered either a refund or an identical replacement. I chose the replacement. Then I saw that the original item had actually arrived in my town the very next day, but was stopped due to a return to sender request. Ok. The replacement item was promised to arrive by June 24th, but tracking didn’t update for days and said it hadn’t even been received by the carrier, which made things stressful especially since this was a birthday gift and I was told it would arrive on time. Eventually it did arrive, but only after I digitally signed to authorize delivery. When I received it, I was disappointed to find it packed in very thin, flimsy cardboard packaging. The game cart was fine, but the case came partially crushed visably along the spine. I specifically buy physical games because I like collecting the cases, and this one has a dent right on the spine, which is the worst possible spot for me as a collector. Overall, this experience was frustrating from start to finish. 1/5 experience. The best buy warehouse is like 4 hours from my house. I havent even played the game yet but im sure its a better exprienece than this process has been.

Can be a little buggy with the graphics, but the game itself is very fun and worth the price. A long story and cool new mechanics.

Bought it as a gift for a friend. And he is really enjoying the game. Definitely recommend getting it for a friend or oneself who enjoys Pokemon games.

It's glitchy but that's the point. I love this game when it came out.

Yes, these games do not run the best. You'll encounter some Pokemon spawning in the side of hills and the framerate can tank during outbreaks and other instances. However, this has been some of the most fun I've had in a Pokemon game in ages. A lot of mechanics from Arceus were used or tweaked for this game and it blends with the standard "Fight trainers, get gym badges, etc" formula pretty well. Definitely worth playing even with the issues, which will hopefully be fixed in future patches.

My game has crashed at least 4 times and I have constant lag when entering new areas or during the sandstorms. It’s still been fun though and I enjoy the co-op mode.

Good Game buried under a mess of bugs. Hopefully future updates will fix the many issues.

I purchased Pokemon Violet, so I also needed Scarlet to catch everything in this game also. Many hours will fly by as you hunt around the different areas finding Pokemon and having battles. Enjoy the ride!

Open world pokemon game is different and very fun, but the game performance is rough on the Switch OLED. I still recommend if you enjoy playing the Pokemon games!
