The game has crashed on me about 3 times, so be wary of this... If you can deal with the bugs, please enjoy this game!

Same game, different style

The basics are all the same, explore catch and evolve pokemon, battle for gym badges. There are a ton of new pokemon. The “open” world concept is really only partially true as you cant go to certain areas too quickly as the pokemon in that area will be too tough.

Ambitious gameplay

People are right in that there are a few glitches when playing. However if you are playing on the offline mode it is not too bad. Eventually there will be more updates to make the gameplay smoother.
