Having problems. Game has many glitches which make it hard to play

As far as Pokémon games go, and there’s a lot of them, this is by far the newest one.

Game is unfinished and incomplete. Do not reward Gamefreak for bad game development.

The game in general is not to bad but the graphics arent the best.

Pokemon is the HIGHEST grossing franchise of all time and somehow they can release disappointing games like these. The game is full of bugs, horrible graphics, bad animations...the list is endless.

Shortert played pokemon game to date. Looks like garbage. Story is all iver the place. Open world is vast and void of life.

Like many RPGs . This tells a story through dialogue instead of real gameplay. Stick to writing novels people. How are kids supposed to keep up or stay awake through 30 scenes of dialogue WITH CUT SCENES DISABLED?

One of the best Pokémon games yet, despite the rather poor technical performance. There's a lot to do, especially if one gets the DLC. Replay value is really high due to the game's open world structure allowing you to make your own path (though the absence of proper adaptive level scaling makes it a bit hard, outside of Part 1 of the DLC story), plus how items respawn every now and then and you can choose whichever Pokémon you want to play with. The plot is easily among the best Pokémon has had yet - arguably the single best yet. The characters are all amazing, not one of them having poor character arcs. The music and sound direction is also banger. Overall really solid experience, highly recommend.

I absolutely love pokemon but this game is beyond sad. While the new pokemon, crystal mechanic, and story are extremely fun/addicting the preformance issues can make the game unbearable. From dropped frame rates to game freezes, and falling through map Im beyond disappointed developers thought this was ready for release much less charging customers $60 for it. At this point the game feels like its in a beta and theyre using us as the testers while charging for a complete game.

Played through this a while ago. Loved it. Hard battles if you are under level. But a little grinding and it was really fun.

Ive played every single pokemon game and tnis has to be the best one BY FAR. The reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the poor performance on the console. If the game Breath of The Wild can run smoothly, so could this. Apart from performance this game is INCREDIBLE and proves that pokemon is capable of moving forward.

The gameplay itself is very enjoyable; probably the most fun I’ve ever had playing Pokémon. However, the framerate can get very choppy near cities and when there’s a lot of Pokémon on the screen. This can be very frustrating, since just about everything else about the game is so good. Hopefully things will get patched up in the upcoming months, but, for now, it’s just something that you’ll have to tolerate.

As a main title Pokemon game, this is unacceptable. The game is rushed and clearly not finished. The overworld is empty and lifeless, there are too many cutscenes that takes way too long, as well as the loading times in between gameplay and cutscenes is absolutely slow, and the elephant in the room, the performance issue. This game is extremely LAGGY. The game received a day one patch, and even with that, it is still horrendous. It is unlikely that they will be fixed and I would not hold my breath for it. Do yourself a favor and turn around and keep on playing Legends instead, or other previous titles because compare to this game, they run better.

At first it was decent. Then after playing for a bit i found mysef actually having fun. It has sword/sheild vibes for sure but with a touch of Legends Arceus. Sure it doesnt play just like Arceus but its still fun. Hope they contiune to make pokemon game like Legends Arceus.

It was the best way for pokemon to step into the future. Unfortunately you can tell the age of the Switch with the lagging in the game. I understand that Nintendo is not about the latest and greatest when it comes to graphics but they need to do something to improve.
