This game is more traditional than arceus. You still do gyms and fight a new version of team rocket. The down side is a huge amount of propaganda they force feed you. Catching pokemon is not like arceus. It is traditional catching. The catch rates are entirely random. It is very frustrating that they botched the probabilities on the different pokeballs to the point where none of it matters at all. It is easy to get stuck because it expects you to choose a direction then go back to the start and choose the opposite direction and then stop and go back to the first direction then stop and go back again all without any prompting from the game.

Been waiting for this one there’s updates currently coming yes there is glitches but they will all get fixed eventually other than all that the game is fun it’s different then your regular Pokémon games

It makes my young heart happy to play this game and to see how far Pokemon has come with their new open-world concept, so much to discover, if you think youve seen every place you most likely havent!

Ok, in all seriousness, these are fun little games, that are finally going in the right direction, because of features that the fans have been asking for, but it could have stayed in development for a little bit longer to iron out the bugs and be properly optimized to run on the Nintendo Switch, like Zelda: Breath of the Wild did. I would recommend waiting for these games to be mostly bug free and optimized before buying, to get the intended experience.

While the gameplay is some of the most fun in the series, it's a broken buggy mess, not worth its full price tag. There's tons of longer, more thoughtful reviews online, but in short, the technical difficulties holds back what could be a interesting, at at times fun, open-world pokemon game. The co-op is some of the best in the series, as playing with my sibling has been very fun. For a better single player adventure and open-area pokemon gameplay you're better off playing Pokemon Legends Arceus.

The new pokemon title continues the fun from previous titles. The only complaint is there is sometimes graphical glitches in the game that will hopefully be patched out.

The game is a buggy mess on release which sucks because the gameplay itself is awesome. If you don’t mind slowdown and clipping through walls this game is a fun one.

Wonderful story, great gameplay. Full of bugs and glitches but that makes the game more enjoyable because of how funny it is. Overall its been a great purchase for myswlf and my oldest kid.

My sons have been collecting and playing pokemon since they were very young. How fun that the pokemon games are still being published and played! Never tire of playing Nintendo games!

I felt the pokemon franchise tried too hard and lost some of the aspects on what pokemon should be about.

Come glitches low fps looking back at it pokemon xd and colloseum were a technical feat compared to this and the switch is more powerful than the gamecube

Both games are fantastic to play but there are glitches and some visual issues that need to be fixed. The games are worth playing even in current state.

Yes, all Pokemon games are thw same overall, but thats why we like them. The new Pokemon are fun. Game just has a lot of slowdown that needs to be fixed.

Excellent value for any Pokémon fan! You get 200 free Pokéballs to use in your adventure. The first Open-world adventure in this franchise, great for all fans at any age.

The game is another fantastic entry in the world of Pokemon. However, there are many performance issues that hopefully get corrected with future updates.

Exactly what you expect from a new pokemon title but unfortunately with a lot of glitches. Hopefully nintendo will remedy with some gresh hardware soon.

I have had this game since launch and it STILL has issues. Multiple glitches, game crashes, and the raid battles are barely playable. I am so disappointed in this game and the lack of support to fix it. If you do buy this game, keep auto save on and still manually save constantly. Buy Legends Arceus instead or Sword/Shield.

I love pokemon but the games are constantly disappointing. The graphics are so bad and i am done buying pokemom games until they up their stuff

The two pack has extra pokeballs which is nice to start with some. The game is a little rough and should have been polished before release but its still fun pokemon!

I was really excited about this game but there was a lot of lag and glitch.
