    I bought this for my son for Christmas! He plays it and likes it a lot. I dont recommend for anyone under 8 years old.

    It's an enjoyable game. I was expecting better graphics but overall it's fun. The game itself is easy especially leveling up your pokemon.

    Pokemon Shield is a fun game in and of itself. The Pokemon that are available in the game you are nearly free to catch at any point which allows for using a diverse team on multiple different play throughs. The two down sides of the game are (1) forced, permanent EXP share which cause your team to get over leveled if you spend too much time catching wild Pokemon and (2) weird level gaps at the end of the game when you spend the entire rest of the game over leveled and could have been handled better.
