A much needed step in the right direction! This franchise can really use change and this entry has made some likeable changes but uses too many old assets and has some terrible Pokemon design. Nonetheless still worth a purchase!

This was left by Santa for dad so he can play alongside his princess and make trades with her along their journey. It has been an amazing way to find common ground and has strengthened their relationship.

It is a new installation. If you like pokemon, then this is a no brainer. the gimmick of Gigantamax is a bit stale. Looks cool, but I wish they would bring back pokemon contests and expand on that. They could have had the gigantimax thing somehow implemented and keep pokemon battles more simple. They def look pretty interesting though, just not my cup of tea.

The best Mario game n kids are loving it. Its really fun

except for some different pokemon, so just get your preference. nice to finally get a pokemon game on a console and mostly lives up to it. It looks great and the gameplay is mostly the same, the only real downside is it's not very innovative.

I have no complaints. I enjoy the franchise. The graphics are excellent.

I'll start off by saying that this game will be a lot of fun for majority of purchasers. The "wild area" addition to the game is great. However, hardcore fans will be disappointed by the amount of missing content that was included in previous entries. The series is starting to feel very stale.

I bought this game for my son for Christmas. He seems to like it.

One of the better Pokemon games out there. I was pleasantly surprised by this console pokemon game. Great story & great graphics. Any Pokemon fan would like this game (or its counterpart game Sword).

Game is good but lacking in graphics and short on content.

If you’re hardcore and all of the things like smaller Pokédex and reused character models bothers you... it doesn’t matter. The game still had a massive opening with 6 million copies sold in the first 3 days. Just play the game. It’s solid.

This game is fun and nostalgic for those who enjoyed the gameboy color Pokémon red, blue, or yellow versions. It brings back that kind of vibe and opens the door to more of the newer generation of Pokémon so it’sa good balance of the two.

Not the greatest pokemon game but it's definitely fun.

This game is fun and is great if you haven't kept up with the Pokemon series over the years. However, if you have kept up with the titles, then this game might run stale for you after sometime. I've owned this game for half a year, and I STILL haven't beaten the game. Not because the game is that long but simply because the game grows stale. Maybe its the dated gameplay mechanics, or maybe its the lack of Pokemon included. While the game introduces tons of GREAT quality of life improvements (ie. TMs, HM removal, ability to swap Pokemon from PC boxes on the go, EXP share), the core gameplay itself hasn't changed much. This game is like if Apple released iPhone 11. If you already have an iPhone 10, you'll know what to expect. There'll be improvements, but maybe not enough to warrant that price tag. If the iPhone 11 is your first iPhone though or if you haven't upgraded since iPhone 6, then yeah you'll enjoy this game much more than the average user.

I had a overall good time playing with this game. Some players might not like it since it feels too easy compared to the other games but I swear trying to catch every Pokemon on your journey all the way until the end was so much fun! The music could be a hit or miss at times but my favorite so far would have to be Bede's theme.

This game is a lot of fun, it’s nothing revolutionary for the brand. I ran through the game in like 24 hours but I’m also not 8 anymore lol some of the new Pokémon are extra silly but that’s expected at this point.

People tend to complain a lot about this game but take it for what it is, a next generation Pokemon game for you to enjoy. If you stop looking for things to complain about, I think the game is a wonderful game l.
