Over the years, a lot has pulled these Pokémon games away from the original magic and feel of red and blue. While this game is very different from the first generation, I have enjoyed it the most since the early days

I bought this game as a gift for my niece for Christmas.

I was pleased with the pricing and availability of this product. This was a gift for someone and I’ve only heard great things about the game itself. I have not played it. I only know he is a proud owner of the gift.

Haven’t played Pokémon in 10+ years. A lot of fun.

The experience ordering this from Best Buy was fabulous. Game came the same day as release. So no complains with Best Buy! This Pokemon game is just okay though, spoken from the point of a longtime fan of the series. It could have used a little more polish but the game overall is a fun experience and great for kids and families.

If you're loking for something world-shattering, this isn't it, but it's Pokemon! Collect tons of Pokemon running around, fight everybody else's Pokemon, become the very best...like no one ever was. I enjoyed it.

Already had the Sword edition but son wanted the other for the different starters. Didn't think it was worth the money since both games are essentially the same but he really did play again all the way through this new one. Only 4 stars since Nintendo forced me to pay such a big chunk for 2 versions of the same game.

This is really a great next gen pokemon game. Though it could be a little bit easy for intense gamers but the whole nostalgic feeling of pokemon is still there. If you love pokemon, dont hesitate to purchase it!

Very fun game that if you are a fan of the Pokémon series. Even better when you play with friends or are connected to the internet. The expansion passes for the games are fun as well.

I have been a Pokémon fan since it came to the states and this has been the most fun very had playing a Pokémon game since gold/silver! While I prefer Sword, these games are a must buy for any Pokémon fan!

Great game. If you are familiar to the Pokemon franchise then you know what to expect. Same quality and gameplay. I am enjoying this game a lot. Dont expect this to be like the Let Go Pikachu/Eevee though.

I grew up on Pokémon and I love that now my 5 year old is enjoying it. The game is easy for kids, but also has the nostalgia for us adults. It also has online access which adds difficulty for adults to enjoy.

Game is a normal Pokemon game. Great graphic and easy way to catch Pokémon. From Pokémon appearing out the tall grass or popping out from the water. It could become a better game if include all Pokemon in Pokédex instead limiting user to certain types. All regions are great from finding hidden Pokemon or hidden items around.

Everything you come to expect from a current platform Pokemon game. Not as memorable as the early ones. I didn't find it too difficult but some of the battles still presented a challenge.

Sword and Shield are both very fun games. I prefer Shield as is has Galarian Ponyta rather than Farfetch'd, as well as a different legendary Pokemon, which is up to personal preference.

I've enjoyed Playing game so far with my friends..

The only reason this isn’t a perfect is because of all the Dexit controversy...but if you put that aside the game is amazing. So much to do, it looks great, and the game made a lot of tedious things convenient. I hope there’s updates along the way but if you take it for what it is, it might be the best Pokémon game so far.

As always, a game for any age. If you've played the old Pokémon games you'll love this one. Puzzles, challenging battles and endless possibilities on how you want to finish the game.
