I loved this game when it initially came out and I continue to enjoy it here and there. It is perfect if you have 30mins to 3hrs! The graphics look great and the open world 3D style looks beautiful.

My baby brother loves video games so much that I am very tempted to buy the sword version to make sure he stays entertained. Very PG, except for the fighting but that makes sense.

The wife has been thoroughly enjoying the game and I personally have enjoyed it far more than expected. The Pokemon are there, the presentation is there, the adventure is there and I love it. Do recommend.

Despite bad reviews, I’m really enjoying the game. I love the new encounter mechanic. The world seems more alive than ever. Though I haven’t played through the entire game yet, I find it charming and fun.

I purchased this game as a gift for my son because I already had sword. I feel they got it more right on this one with elements of classic Pokemon mixed with some of the new features. Super fun to play!

Pokémon Shield is a welcome new addition to the Pokémon franchise with a fun new world to explore and addicting gameplay. But still wishing the next game will be more open world game like Breath of Wild

This is my first time playing a Pokémon game from the franchise, and I wanted to play this game while I was watching the series of Pokémon on Netflix.

Overall a fun and entertaining game that the franchise always has high replayability. Hopefully the makers will add new content in the next few months. I enjoy it both as a console and a portable game.

Pokemon Shield for Nintendo Switch, my son played and liked the "Sword" version when he was at his friend's and so he wanted to get this "Shield" version and he says the game play is almost alike and so I am happy with my purchase. I dont think one should get both, but it is just me.

If you like the Pokemon formula: catching creatures, training, battling and trading, then you'll enjoy this newest entry. The story is lack-luster and the difficulty is laughably easy but that's not why you're here. There are several quality of life improvements that make this the easiest Pokemon to get into yet!

one of the best pokemon games out there even though it's not top down view. Definitely some odd new characters that I would've been ok not having ever been made but oh well...

Been playing Pokémon since I was a little girl on the Gameboy Advance. I already finished the main plot line and on a roll to catching all those Pokémon! I have the Shield currently.

It’s a Pokémon game. I enjoyed it very much. Only issue is that it cost money to transfer from older generations. After that the game is pretty solid. Could use more cosmetics though.

My kids love this pokemon game. it was simple enough to allow my 5 year old to beat the primary storyline. And nostalgic enough that my 15 year old was still engaged.

You can never go wrong with a Pokemon game. This one has some new interesting features. There's a lot to take in but it becomes second nature. Send your Pokemon out for jobs to level up quicker!

This game is beautiful! It feels so great as a pokemon game and the mechanics this time around are smooth and fun. A must have this holiday season if youre a fan of pokemon and have a Nintendo Switch.

Just bought the Nintendo switch for my son for his birthday. I was a bit cautious because we still have his Nintendo Wii U. He’s older now and the games are more advanced. So surprised. Great buy.
