This is a solid title that has some problems but for the most part, doesn't let those shortcomings affect the overall product. Pokemon fans both young and old will be able to enjoy this title and the beautiful Galar region.

The good it’s very very pretty. As someone who played almost every generation from blue to shield (gen 4 remake I am coming for you) this is shockingly boringI found my time with Let’s Go to be really enjoyable, Game Freak hit nostalgia gold with that one but it still felt fresh maybe it catching mechanics. But Shield felt hollow and dull like they only did to have a shiny new pokemon game. But at least it’s a looker.

Great game for my kid way better remake. They need to remake all of the Pokémon games on the switch looks great

Great installment. The last Pokemon game I played was Pearl back in 2009. It's been different and fun.

Being able to make your Pokemon gigantic has made this my child's favorite game, at the moment. Very well suited for younger kids.

It’s a fun game from the poke verse. If you like running around catching Pokémon with a decent story then you’ll enjoy this.

Sword and Shield are amazing games. A ton of fun for new and returning Pokémon players.

some good quality of life improvements, a lot of exposition early on makes the game take a while to get into but so far pretty enjoyable nothing spectacular and not much of jump from the 3DS titles which is disappointing.

I know I know, nintendi f us with the shorten of the pokedex, the horrid graphics and the terrible character models. But TBH Pokemon is about catching and training, and it delivers an seamless experience in that regard

Purchase for oldest son. He is enjoying capturing pokemon and using them to battle battling against others.

Don't let the hate from the whiny jabronies persuade you. If you're a real fan of Pokémon then I'd imagine you'd enjoy this one.

This was fun and refreshing take on the Pokémon series. I easily put in over a 100 hours into this game
