I usually hand out 5 star reviews for nintendo titles, but I just could not with these new pokemon games. For a new generation nintendo title I believe everyone expected a much more refined title. Textures are very low quality compared to other more demanding games, and the content and new ideas put into this game were not too innovative for a pokemon veteran. Despite this, the game is enjoyable and has plenty to do. Still has that pokemon nostalgia and is a decent video game, just not a very memorable pokemon game.

Great game. I liked some of the changes to mechanics and how there are both old and new pokemon to catch.

Much of the same pokemon game with new pokemon and some returning old pokemon. Game itself is perfectly fine. If you like pokemon because it is pokemon then you should get it. No point buying both versions.

As fun as ever! Still pokemon but it's got a bit of a new twist....dont love how the pokemon look but it's quite fun.

The wild encounter and dynamax system is a cool gimmick, but the game cuts out a bunch of pokemon from previous versions and gets repetitive quickly.
