I also purchased the Sword edition. My son plays it, while I play shield. I love that we can battle together!

Customer service was great and also was the game my kids have so much fun playing it on their Nintendo switch.

I got this game for myself and my best friend. I absolutely love the content in the game, as well as the new expansions they added. If you’re a fan of Pokémon, or even if you’re not, it’s still a game you can play. It’s easy to go through, but very enjoyable for veterans or older players(like myself). The graphics are great as well. Although mainly a solo game like any other Pokémon main series, they included some co-op/multiplayer options which I found really fun.

While this isn’t the best pokemon game, this has an amazing open world feature and a lot of replay ability after the post game.

Kids love it 6, 10, and 13 all three have played it so much we ended up buying Pokémon sword so they could play together

The game is almost the same as Pokémon sword, same story line. It has some different characters and Pokémons but if you’re trying to buy both sword and shield I recommend just buying one.

Great refresher for the series. Some original, and some wacky ideas for different pokemon but great introduction of a wild area

So much fun playing with my niece. Loved the direction this game went in.

It's alright. For long-time fans, it will seem full of unnecessary, childish features and mini-games (play with your Pokémon, cook, wardrobes, etc.) It is also easier, there are too many ways to heal your Pokémon, and the storyline is relatively short. It is disappointing that most Pokémon are not present. It's certainly great to be able to play on a large screen with a controller. That's about it in the pros department.

When Pokemon Shield was announced, I was so so so excited to have a main-line Pokemon game on my Nintendo Switch, but when it was announced that not all Pokemon would be included in the new game, I cancelled my pre-order in protest. But... I couldn't resist. I've now been playing it for 25+ hours and I have been very impressed by all of the quality of life improvements there are. The game has been so fun to play and I've been able to find ways to keep it challenging throughout my play through.

Bought this for my son for Christmas and he loves it. Especially loves that it is set in the UK since that is where I’m from.

Fun for a little while. The world really isn't as big as it could have been. Main story is really short. Overall difficulty level is too easy.

Love it! Great game and neat storyline. I have not gotten to any of the post-champion stuff, but I can't wait!

I always enjoy playing the Pokémon games and this one is no let down! Definitely would recommend it to a friend

This game was very fun and I enjoy every bits of it. The new pokemons along with several of the previous pokemons from previous versions makes the game more nostalgic. This game also has "surprise trading" which I think is really great, pretty much like gambling. They made this game more connected with the community if you have a Nintendo switch online subscription. So many things to do, I can't wait to beat this game and try and capture the legendaries.

Pokemon continues to be one of the most fun RPG experiences in gaming. While there is nothing original in presentation and the new Pokemon are not memorable, this is still a game worth playing for any Pokemon fan.

Great game this one offers the unicorn in the forest that the Sword game doesn’t. Great gift for someone.
