    The lack of the full national PokeDex and the mixing of Galarian and national Pokemon was strange to me especially when compared to its predecessors, but overall it's a Pokemon game--it can be fun for both first timers and casual veterans to play. The overworld 3D pokemon models initiating battle encounters are still some of my favorite features.
