Great pokemon game. Super fun. Would recommend buying.

Pokemon shield was a breath of fresh air. As someone who has played from Gen 1 Pokemon red, I haven't had this much enjoyment exploring the world in awhile. This new entry in the Pokemon universe takes a lot of what was great about the previous generations and streamlines the systems in a way that old and new generations of Pokemon trainers can enjoy. Though there are many Pokemon that don't appear in this version, there's enough variety of old and new that nostalgia still can take a hold. It is fun, quirky at times, and challenging at others, this is still a game that the whole family can enjoy.

great visuals and the storyline is easy to follow, I wish they had more side quests.

After the wait for a new Pokémon game (leaving out LG Pikachu), the game has its ups and downs but at the end of all that brings some sort of equilibrium PROS -Nice story, about 20 something hours. -Exciting gym battles -A little more difficult than S-M/US-UM -Nice plot twist -A larger league than the Elite 4 -An excellent battle vs the Galar champion -81 new cool Pokémon (including the Galar forms of old ones) -Dynamax/Gigantamax gimmick is pretty cool -The wild areas CONS -Dexit, or how they remove about 2/3 of the national pokedex (if you have them in home you won't be able to use them yet, hopefully in a future expansion) -The very bad implementarion of Team Yell -Graphics not as good (I personally prefer LGPikachu) UP TO YOU No Z moves or Mega stones, I personally didn't like this so it is a PRO for me. The game is good and as soon as I finished it I will buy the expansion which I'm sure will add to it but right now something makes this game feel incomplete, that's the reason of the missing star.

Bought this game to pass time during flights and i was hooked right away! I remember playing pokemon red whwn i was a kid such a cool experience

Exceeded my expectations as I was not a fan of Sun and Moon. This one is great! Challenging, customizable, excellent! And the Pokemon look better in the game than on the serebii site so just go for it! You won't be disappointed.

It’s a decent game! The story is very short and similar to ultra sun/moon there is still that “hand holding” element. Slightly annoying. You’re constantly told where to go with that flag marker on the map and your “rival” in the game constantly appears. Just too easy for me personally. Although I am 27 years old so there’s that lol. Besides all that there are still hours that can be put into the game. Completing the Pokédex, spending time in the wild area, working on catching shinies. It would be nice maybe in future games to be able to set a difficulty for the game. I would like to see a more in depth story as well. Overall I like the game and will continue to play it for the time being! Just was expecting more I guess!

I absolutely love this game! I'm not sure how Pokemon continues to improve the same great game but they certainly did here. It's a bit less of a grind since battles give your entire team experience but it's definitely more fun for casual players such as myself :)

This game has a similar feel to earlier entries in the series, but has new features like the wild lands and gigantamax. The addition of importing old creatures via pokemon him was a welcome on, but many of the old creature are still not available in game.

Bought as a gift. Requested this specific game. Enjoys it.

I played both versions of Pokemon this generation and they were a lot of fun.
