It's been a rollercoaster with this one but such a satisfying ending. Gameplay was incredible controls, camera, everything.

It's been a long time since I've played a Pokemon game (since Leaf Green to be exact), and I'm really enjoying Shield. Playing Shield has been a huge nostalgia trip for me as I recall a lot information I once learned about Pokemon. Things like being able to quickly run through grassy sections without having to encounter pokemon, quickly navigating using a bike, etc. make this game very enjoyable. My one major gripe is the amount of hand-holding in the game. It never lets up and I feel like even myself as a kid would have been frustrated. They dumbed it down to an obscene level at times. However, overall my experience has been great! My fiance is playing Sword and we have occasionally battled together which also makes for a fun experience.

The only thing i didn't like was that i never got my coins. Other than that awesome game would recommend it to anyone.

A little bit different from the classic Pokémon games, but it sure packs a punch with the new graphics and storyline!
