Although this is only a one player game and I had my doubts my son Absolutely loves these games and constantly raves about them. He has a friend play the opposite game on their switches so while he’s playing the other he can “trade” himself basically and have the characters he wants most in his favorite game!

so far, i love the game! i didn't buy the games when they first launched back in Nov of 2019 and I honestly regret that. The people that are bashing this game for lacking features that the other past two games lacked are giving the impression that this game is trash but they are fun and music is good too

These are overall really great games, despite a lot of the issues. Pokemon is still really fun and the move to a true hd console brings out both the great and not so great. the double pack has some nice bonuses and either version is worth getting with the announcement of dlc instead of a 3rd separate game.

I only vaguely knew some gen 1 pokemon and stuff like that but it was still not too hard to get into. So far it's fun going around trying to catch anything I see, and it's always great to find something rare. The music is especially phenomenal being upbeat and fun. This is fun for anyone to get into.

While I probably should have gotten just one instead of both, the game itself is a lot of fun. Would recommend to fans.

There have been a lot of complaints about this game since it removed a few features that had been added over the last 3 generations. Since I stopped playing before those 3, I was able to enjoy my time while having missed nothing since they didn't exist. If you love the franchise you probably already thought about getting one of the games, if you've only shown passing interest it's probably better to wait until a few more games come out to see where they take gen 8.

I don't play the game myself. I purchased as a Christmas gift. I know my granddaughter will love it (except she currently can't find her switch, doesn't remember where she put it! LOL). Anyway, she has had all the Pokémon games and loves them. Can't wait for Christmas to watch her open it!

Buying the bundle was the best decision instead of getting the games individually because of the $10 gift certificate and the dynamax codes in the box for Larvitar and Jangmo-o. Was definitely surprised by the collector coin because it was not mentioned when I originally preordered the bundle.

Strongest Pokémon entry in 9 years. Playing since generation 1, and it’s definitely refreshing to play on a full sized tv without sacrificing the ability to play on the go. The game may not have a full dex, but it has a large enough roster to keep you plenty busy while trying to catch em all.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are really fun games for any pokemon fan! Honestly there are things in the game that are quite annoying. The online functions don't always work and it is really difficult to connect with friends. The game overall is incredibly fun and I personally can't stop playing!
