Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the great gameplay and overall performance of Pokémon. Many appreciate the engaging story, ease of use, and fun experience, especially the Wild Area. Some customers feel that the game could be improved with adjustable difficulty levels and additional content. Despite these concerns, the game is praised for its selection of Pokémon to catch, open-world aspects, and reasonable price.

A fun and immersive game that brings me back to the old Game-boy Pokemon games, but with a new, 3D upgrade! The only criticism that I have of this game is the sheer amount of ime I've spent trying to fill my pokedex- something I've never done before- simply because the art style and the play of the game is so attractive. Simply amazing!

I purchased 2 of these games so that the kids did not have to fight or share! One was digital and the other was Cartridge. The kids are able to play each other on their own systems without having to have the game pause if the other signs in. As for the game itself I just know it was the must have game for the holiday season and my kids couldn’t be happier!

Great game. Compared to Let's Go Pikachu/ Eevie it's back to classic pokemon gameplay. Not that it's bad but this game is closer to X/Y, and Sun/Moon than Pokemon Go. Even gigantamax feels like z moves/ mega evolution. It's cool that you catch different Pokemon depending on the weather but it makes it harder to catch them all.

Even after hearing so many complaints online prior to the game's release, I went into Pokémon Sword with an open mind, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Great graphics and quality of life improvements and an MMO-esque Wild Area have sucked me in. I find myself 'catching them all' instead of trying to progress the story. Engaging and entertaining!

As someone who played the original Red, Blue, and Yellow, this is a great game to dive into and see Pokemon in 3D. I know a lot of long-time hardcore players are upset about the incomplete Pokedex, but as a player with more nostalgia than experience, this is a fantastic and fun game.

Though it was a linear experience this was not a bad first step into next-gen pokemon. Most of the choices behind the game were questionable and spark a lot of debate however over time Gamefreak redeem themselves,. Hopefully, they take a more creative and innovative approach to this franchise with the next game.

Good graphics, feels and plays like the original pokemon with some fun twists. They introduced a new game mechanic to giant-ize your pokemon some have new looks in their giant form. Sword and shield have an open and immersive world to explore with pokemon that roam the wild lands you walk on. A must buy when picking up the Nintendo Switch!
