While some of it feels a bit handholding, the fluidity of the gameplay itself is amazing. The raid oriented battles are a lot of fun as well. Looking forward to the expansions.

What you expect from a pokemon main series game. Cool new pokemon, great new features to keep it fresh like raids and the wild area, and still keeps the old charm of the classics.

I have had a lot of problems with a Samsung tv I bought ( no fault of Best Buy) but I have to say the 2 managers that I had to deal with, were absolutely fabulous...they both bent over backwards to help me and I hope their company knows what great managers they have...it was at the Chapel Hill store, Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. Their names are Josh and Chris. They were so polite and patient with me and did not make me feel that my complaints weren't their problem. I would definitely deal with them again....Kathe Hupp

A great, refreshing take on the Pokemon series. I strongly recommend this game to people looking to continue their pokemon legacy, or to get back into the series after an absence.

The real gameplay starts after you beat the champion. Such a fun game with plenty of adventures and downloadable content to keep you busy. 10/10 recommend.

Great addition to the Pokémon library, fun game with tons of new Pokémon! Wish that all Pokémon were able to be caught, but having over 1500 Pokémon I guess would be impossible.

Pokemon games are always pretty good. This generation changes up the formula a bit to make the game more accessible for beginners, but it's still a great addition to the series!

Im really enjoying this game. Collecting pokemon is always fun. The game isnt too challenging but that works well for me because i dont like challenging games.

nice to finally get a pokemon game on a console and mostly lives up to it. It looks great and the gameplay is mostly the same, the only real downside is it's not very innovative.

Solid edition to Nintendo Switch Pokémon series. Best Buy has All the latest games at competitive prices. Best Buy is the gaming headquarters for our family.

Since I started playing I have not been able to put it down. Great adventure traveling throughout the map to be the best Pokémon Trainer and catch lots of Pokémon

Pokémon at its best. Graphics/Pictures is top notch. Variety of new generation Pokémon leaves more to desire. Would recommend this game to all switch users.

Bought for 11 yr old grandchild for birthday...had to order in August and wait for release in November...worth the wait; they could not stop playing it! Appears to be great fun!

I got so lucky when I saw both Pokemon Sword and Shield at this Best Buy in NH. They were on sale for $40 each and I had to get both lol

Very cool graphic style, youth friendly game play and controls. My daughter really enjoys playing this one.

Having expected a Pokemon game return to console after so many years, I expected an amazing game. While this game is enjoyable, I feel like it could've done so much more than what it offers. It almost feels like a 3ds port. Nonetheless, it is still enjoyable and will scratch your Pokemon itch.

Sword and Shield are the best new mainline Pokemon games to come out in years! I've already played through both and loved every minute of it. Can't recommend this game enough!

Love this game! Reminded me how much I loved adventuring with my pokemon and getting into battles with friends. Definitely brings the kid out of me

Kinda disappointed by the uncreative nature of some of the new pokemon, but the game was enjoyable enough, and I really like the intense graphics and new grass system. It feels more realistic and adds a skill aspect to getting through areas without fighting as opposed to leaving it to chance.
