Bought this as a present for my SO because I had shield and she did not. Love playing through the game. Love watching her play now. We both still love Pokémon so much

This game is very similar to the Let's Go games, but it's much more fun to play. The graphics are better and the player has more freedom and more control.

My son likes that they brought back the battle wild Pokémon feature that they had for the DS gameplay. He says the play with Pokémon feature at camp is cool as well as their are new Pokémon. Give it a try! He says it’s a great game! Dinomaxing has also been added which powers up your Pokémon x10 and is useful in Max raid battles.

I like many others grew up playing pokemon and have continued to support the franchise as an adult. This game adds a few updates like the wild area that have not been done before in Pokemon. These changes are nice but the truth is that this series has been glacial in its updates and feels and often looks like a game from 10 years ago. This series needs drastic changes to rival any premier modern RPG game from this generation but sadly seems doomed to continue to coast on its name value. I hope we eventually get to see a version of Pokemon that feels next gen. I would reccomend this for kids or huge fans of the franchise, if like me you have felt burned out by the last few of these you may want to consider skipping this one.

This game is amazing lots of hours of play. I haven’t played a Pokémon game since Silver and uhh things have changed to say the least. Would recommend for anyone that likes Pokémon and has a switch

A muat have for any kid or kid at heart who loves Pokemon. Great fun and a must have for Nintendo Switch players who have enjoyed othe Pokemon games.

My kids love it. Not only that . Nintendo has really done a great job bringing the original Pokémon style to next gen console . Graphics are great. Enough content to keep you going .

My son absolutely loves this game, he is really into Pokemon, and loves to play this when we're traveling. SO awesome that you can connect Pokemon Go with this game.

First pokemon game I've played in about a decade. Glad to be able to play this on the switch as I never had one of the (3/2)DS handhelds. Game looks great, and I haven't had any performance issues with it.

Pokémon Sword is an awesome game that is full of content and things to do. I love how the game is finally in HD and how you can see the wild Pokémon walking in the grass before you attempt to battle them.

really took me back to my childhood. Game was a blast. Beat it so fast, but def worth it as there is so much to continue doing. Haven't picked up a game I couldn't put down since GTA and fallout.

Great game I would totally recommend it. It’s not your typical birds eye view pokemon game so that was interesting and fun to get a new perspective.

I love this game. In my opinion, it is the best one they've put out in years. Great graphics, good plot and a reasonable number of pokemon regardless of the lack of the national dex. Overall, great game.

Its another pokemon game this one u can get a lot of pokemon at anytime in the game as opposed to having 150 and then maybr 50 to 100 more after beating the game. Which is cool the wild zone and raids are cool but joining people doesnt work great. Its nintendo so the online is still just not good feels like early 2002 or something.

This is the classic game play of Pokemon games only on the switch. The graphics are nice and the battle animations are colorful. It doesn't seem to be as long as the old Gameboy games but still enjoyable.

If you enjoy all things Pokemon then you'll enjoy playing this game. Colorful and detailed graphics, good number of areas to explore and a good number of Pokemon to capture make for an enjoyable game.

I got this game to play over winter break and got through the main story pretty quickly. However, there are a number of things to do after you complete the main story to keep you occupied for quite some time (if you’re looking for bang for your buck). I recommend also getting the expansion pass.

Amazing game! I both both and have put in over 600 hours. You’ll enjoy having this for sure. Makes an amazing gift as well. I’ve gifted this to a couple friends and they love it.

I'm not into Pokemon whatsoever; however, our three boys love it and continue to play the game even over six months' after buying it and completing a lot of the objectives in the game.
