An underwhelming improvement to the known formula

The new monsters are generally of good design, but the lack of general improvements in the other areas of the game from Sun and Moon makes it feel more like a 3DS port with an extra $20 price tag than a leap onto a home console. If you enjoyed Pokemon before, you'll surely enjoy your journey through Galar but it'll also leave you wondering, was this the best they could do?
