My son’s favorite pokemon game! This is our second purchase of it

Although the main story line is very inviting and keeps you engaged, the quality of the game's performance seems to be very jarring at times, with 1/2 frame rate characters at close distance or even slower at further distances, even when plugged in/docked. Hopefully future updates will improve it and make the game more stable (as I did experience game crashes and bugs multiple times). Recommend, but with caveat: game does not feel like it should have been released in it's original condition.

Fun game, but overpriced, especially for the obvious performance issues. I’d recommend buying it at a discount unless you are a hardcore Pokémon fan.

This game is extremely glitchy, but so much fun. I would maybe wait for a few patches to come out. Otherwise great game.

Different than the other games, but still fun. Haven’t had many bugs with it, so no real issues. Keep coming back to it.

Very much like Scarlet but some unique style pokemon and definitely worth playing through even if you have already played Scarlet.

Pokémon violet is a great game. It brings back so many memories and also helps create new ones with my kids. I enjoy the battling system and how the world has expanded since the days of Pokémon red and blue.

A few glitches but otherwise decent game. Worth the play. I just wish I could bring pokémon from my other boxes over to this game.

Love this game! It is so much fun, although there are many glitches, they haven't been affecting me much throughout my gameplay.

Another pre-order, another Pokemon game purchased from Best Buy

The game play and story are awesome. The random Pokemon experiences and catching without battles is really nice. Hours of fun.

I feel like the game was rushed. It’s sometimes buggy. It’s still fun but I would wait until they fix the bugs.

I liked the game, but the graphics were a bit jumpy at times. It definitely took away from the enjoyment of the game.

Love either version you get. It's a great game. I kind of wish they would make these harder like how they used to be.

Only thing i would really add is to be able to actually style your character more; tou can change all accessories and shoes .. everything but the clothes which is limited to the seasons preset uniforms

This game is amazing when it works. Without the glitch and bugs to interrupt my gameplay this game might be been the second best pokemon game that I've played recently with Arceus behind this title. The pokemon project is going in the right direction but developer game freak couldn't deliver at least not yet. Hopefully the patch can solve these issue in the near future.

The gameplay is very fun and doesn't get stale. Would be 5 stars if the fps was better when playing docked.

My kids love the variety of Pokémon and the endless amounts of enjoyment from playing the game.
