Having played past Pokemon games and hearing many positives about XY, me and my sister picked up our respective copies (I got X and she got Y) and got right to it. The game looks beautiful with the new 3D models of the world and the Pokemon during battles, with satisfying animations and expressions from both characters and Pokemon themselves when battling. The music is stellar and catchy so you will definitely start unconsciously humming the tunes after playing a session. You can now customize your characters clothes and look, something that I didn't really care about at first but soon started spending all my money on to make my character unique to me. A negative might be that the NPCs you are forced to talk to are mostly boring who contribute little to the story and a more annoying than anything and make you want to skip through their dialogue as fast as possible to continue your adventure. But that's mostly a nitpick on a otherwise very fun and amazing journey, so I suggest you pick it up!

My son loves Pokémon he is 8 but does not understand how the game works. He’s brought Em it to me quite a few times but I don’t play games. I hope in time he can understand it better.

I brought this for my sister, so we can play Pokemon together she got X and i got Y. Me and her grow up watching this series and playing in the new 3DS . The game is great, I haven't had a problem with Nintendo products ever. Really great for any Pokemon fan lover!

This game is great for passing time. Easy to pick up, learn, and has unlimited replay value.

I haven't played Pokémon since the red/blue/yellow days and decided to give this one a shot because I got a 3DS. It is the most fun I have had playing a game in a long time. So much to keep you engaged with plenty of old school Pokémon to keep it familiar. Love iT

The story is pretty good, the Pokemon are pretty good but the content is lacking just like with Pokemon Y!

I own every Pokemon game going back to the original game boy. This is a must own either X or Y.

Took a break from Pokemon for many years since I was outside the country, but recently picked up the Gen VI games. There's a lot more character to the individual Pokemon from the 3D engine and models, and the difference is much greater than I first thought it would be.

Gets them very involved in reading and math. They love the guide book and websites as well.

This game can be played for hours. Great for middle school and elementary school children.

I got this when it was on sale, at a great price. The order came quickly. While I have not gotten a chance to finish playing the game, it is very similar to its counterpart, Pokemon Y. If you enjoy the Pokemon games, then you will also enjoy this one.

Got this for my gf and now she's making me get Y to play with her. A lot of places have this for sale and BBuy is great about price matching, almost always has stock, and has great service (my experience). As for the game, its Pokemon. Exactly what you'd expect but in 3D.
