I got this as a gift for someone and they said it was a fun game.

Bought the game for my sister and she loves it! may buy one my self and play with her.

Another great entry in the "gotta catch 'em all" series, but as with the last few games, it's also a little disorienting to have minigames lost and added, and game mechanics tweaked. This generation, we lost the Dream World and the EntraLink... but we regained dozens of old favorites on the pokedex while still discovering new ones, and we see the return of berry farming. Plus, linking up online for trading and battling is so much better than plugging a short cable into two units in the same room. I find the 3D graphics (not just the slider 'on' effects, but the style itself) to be a bit distracting, sometimes even disorienting (having the camera angle swinging around makes me want to puke), but the younger generation grew up with these kinds of graphics and I'm sure it's just old fogies like me that have issues. The first worldwide release was a step in the right direction, I hope the events and DLC follow suit.

I loved Pokemon so this was a great game didn't have any difficulty. Love it.

Nintendo has always made great games, and now that they have made such an entertaining and awesome hand-held in the 3DS, the joy and nostalgic feeling of this series is amplified and compounded with new capabilities of such a wonderful handheld.

Got it for my son as a Christmas gift and he can’t stop playing

This is a solid update to the franchise. The graphical update it huge, since all the previous games were in 2d and in top-down perspective. The new pokemon look good too, as there are some interesting designs and types. My only complaint is that the game still follows the same formula as all the others (stupid HMs!) and is not revolutionary in design. Still, if you don't mind that, it's a fun edition to the series.

Game Freak has really outdone itself this time, and Pokemon X and Y will be remembered as great transition point for the series’ transformation into an even more social, beautiful, and strategic game. Building on five generations of games, a digital menagerie of captivating creatures, and a wide range of diverse regions to explore, Pokemon X and Y proves this formulaic portable role-playing series can still deliver an innovative experience.

After purchasing Pokemon X and Y for me and my wife, I have to say I am rather pleased with how the game is turning out. It is your standard Pokemon game with the standard story, though the new accessory bits you can do add a small amount of depth to the game, and are features in Sun and Moon. Such as the ability to Nintendogs your pokemon and make them more friendly. Overall, a good set of games to play.

Another excellent addition to the Pokemon franchise. Gameplay is a fun as in past versions of the game. New Pokemon to catch and new adventures to embark on. You will not be upset that you picked up this chapter of the continuing story.

I think this is the best Pokemon since original red and blue. There's something for everyone. It's not very difficult but if you raise more than the traditional 6 and switch in and out trying to collect them all it won't be a problem. A great mix of old and new.

This is the greatest Pokémon game that I have played so far. If you are looking for a game experience like no other just start with this one. I think it is great for all ages and would love to play with more people! Hope to see you on the Nintendo Network!

The story is lackluster, but that is not the reason to play a poke mon game. You play them, to "catch 'em all." The introduction to 3D is great. I love going into battles, or just riding around the world on the bike. finding the new poke mon is such a blast.

This is a really fun game that my granddaughter has been enjoying a lot.

Haven't played a Pokemon game since the original ruby sapphire games on advance. Really have been enjoying it since there are older Pokemon that I recognize. Very good blend between the 2. Great graphics compared to back in the day
