Being able to skate lets you move around faster which is a great addition to a game where you have to walk from town to town. The graphics and animations look great the mini games are fun but can get boring after a while. My only complaint is that I can't move my pokemon over from other games unless you pay for the pokemon bank to store your pokemon.

Like all Pokemon games, it is fun and rather addicting. This one seemed to have a lot of storyline yet lacked the difficult gyms and trainers that one would expect. Many side tasks kept the game interesting.

This game is hands down one of the best in the Pokemon series. The new starters aren't my favorite, but the gameplay itself is fun from start to finish. Highly recommend this one for sure!!

I have been playing the Pokemon games for the last 20 years and have enjoyed them for the most part. X and Y added a few new fun things while keeping to the core game and experience that one expects from the series. The graphics get better every time and these additions were enjoyed by all the kids (old and young) in the house.

It's close enough to the same thing - you know what the experience is going to be like. Just don't try to turn on the 3D; it's awful.

My son really wanted this game for his birthday. So of course I got it for him along with a new Nintendo 3DS XL. He loves it! He plays it all the time, says the graphics are great,.

Fans of the original games and older entries will get a lot of enjoyment out of the game. It looks great on the 3ds and the Mega Evolutions is a nice addition. Definitely recommend.

Overall this game is amazing. My only complaint is that the frame rate of the game lags occasionally. It's not every moment though. Otherwise, I can't put my 3DS down because I love playing this game.

This is the first game that was in true 3D and they added many new features. If you're a fan of the franchise this is a fresh look at the series and I highly recommend it.

Started to play again when I found out that ruby and sapphire were coming back for the 3ds. I always buy both games just so I can get all the starters. Just a month to go for the next two games.

Welcome to back to the pokemon world get ready to catch many pokemon and 8 badges...Great gameplay great game and make sure you get both version to trade and catch them all.

As the first Pokemon entry to the 3DS, the entire game brought it all back. Based on the Europe region, Gym battles, online feature, story mode all intertwine with each other.

This game does what it promises to and it does those things very well. I'm sometimes surprised we've come so far from Pokemon Blue and Red on the original black and white Game Boy, but the designers have managed to find ways to continue innovating and keeping this series from becoming just another yearly offering to play the same old game.

I love the new system they've created for pokemon x & y and the ORAS versions as well. It's really handheld pokemon perfected. So nostalgic if you grew up in the 90's like me.

With the pokemon craze going on today, my daughter wanted this game. She is definitely in love with it and i have to tell her to put it down. She definitely gives it 5 stars

Bought this game for my granddaughter's birthday. She picked it out. Great choice. This is a fun and entertaining game. She loves it and loves the activities it provides. Hours of enjoyment.

This is a great game for young and older people. Pokemon has been around for awhile and this is a great game to start with if you haven't played any Pokemon games before.

The 3DS may not be my favorite platform for gaming, but this game for it turned out pretty awesome, and I would and have definitely recommended it to anyone who grew up with pokemon.

Great game. You would think that the same old formula would get old, but that RPG aspect of training little creatures into strong and formidable companions is fun.
