Excellent portable Switch fighter

The new fighters like Scizor and Empoleon play awesomely, and the changes to single player really enrich the experience. Additionally, it's great on the go with a buddy.

I didn't go in thinking i was going to be the same but the fighting was really fun! I thought it was like tekken (which I don't like), but it's easier and actually enjoyable for me!

Great game, up there with the best of them
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the first game on the wii u, this switch version is what most people, including myself wanted in the first game I don't like maybe 2 of the pokkemon choice of playable characters but they all play differently and have different play styles and great special effects. If U liked the first U will definitely like this version, its the better of the two.

A fun beginner friendly fighter

It's basic and beginner friendly and uses arena brawler fields. If you just want something fun to play without the deeper complexities of games like SFIV you can't go wrong here.

Good for pokemon fans who enjoy tekken.

This is a hardcore fighting game unlike a regular pokemon game. Think Tekken as its based on the same game engine. There are better fighting games out there. If you get this on sale i would recommend it otherwise look elsewhere.

Fun new approach to fighting games

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The concept of this game was weird to me at first until I played the demo several times. If you love Pokemon and you want to see them actually fight, this is the game for you. It's not your traditional fighting game with combo inputs. There are two phases that you switch between that change the way you approach the battle and the way that you fight. This makes the fighting interesting. The controls are easy to learn and the tutorials are helpful in teaching you how to play. The player base for the game is very small so if you want to play this with other people, I suggest trying the demo out first with a friend and see how you both like it. Otherwise, I recommend this game!
