The updates made to the Alpha Sapphire ( as well as Omega Ruby) were great to bring the newest ideas from Gen 6 to the Gen 3 series. The original Ruby and Sapphire had secret bases that today's internet capabilities were able to expand upon and greatly improve.

This game is apparently what every 12 yo girl desired. I bought it for my niece last Christmas and she really likes it. Nintendo 3ds is a great mobile game experience, and the Pokemon franchise is strong. Sure to not disappoint.

He has loved Pokemon games since he was four, and it is still a go-to game for him, even after thirteen years. Great game for all ages of thinkers and strategists!

This game is really contoured toward kids. It's a lot easier to play than the previous iteration in X/Y.

As far as pokemon games go, this one is ok. Not the best but not the worst. They did do a fantastic job with the 3D remake, and it's a lot of fun, but if you're new to the series I'd recommend going with either X or Y first.

Bought this for my son since he loves Pokemon, he is 5 and just getting into video games and reading. This game makes him want to read more, and he has been picking up words like no tomorrow. This reminds me of my childhood always playing Pokemon. Definitely recommend

If you liked the first one then the remake is a step up from it. Redesigned for a better experience.

This is a remake of the GBA classic that has completely updated the visuals and sounds of the original. While it is debatable which is the superior game (GBA vs 3DS versions), this version is better suited for kids that are drawn to the 3D visuals. My son loves it.
