yep it’s definitely a Pokémon game. My first one since Silver. Have only played a few hours, but it seems to hit all the usual notes.

The mild open world system is ok, your choice to pursue pokemon silently or battle is a wonderful change that i loved. That graphics however do not befit a game of this gen. Catching a pokemon over water is an embarrassing collection of graphics from what apprars to be from early 2000s. This could have been a conplete game changer for the franchise, and they wasted it.

For fans of previous pokemon games you may be in for a surprise. Though a different style of game this was fun!

It's a cool spin on the classic pokemon title. You can feel the resemblance to BOTW right away from the very minute of playing it.

It was fun at first but you really had to grind to get further into it.

Nintendo, The Pokemon Company and GameFreak have delivered again! If you're a Pokemon fan. This is a must buy.

Purchased for my son. He likes the open world play but misses the gym leader battles of previous Pokémon games.

My son loves this game.He's been playing it nonstop. cool story based on the past with Pokemon from multiple generations mixed in. Open world concept..nice

Fun game. What Pokemon should have been growing up. Graphics could definitely be better but addicting and gotta catch them all!

The Game was Great just gets a little repetitive towards post game content but all in all a great step forward for Pokemon.

Honestly far better than i thought it would be. I love some of the new regional pokemon designs. For a non CORE pokemon game its fantastic. I love the free roam and how battles are taken.

Fun game, but as with all Pokemon games, limited replayability. This one has more than most due to the new mechanics.
