A nice twist to the usual Pokemon formula. It's like a Pokemon action game meets the standard turn based battle system. Plus this game is nice and indicates shiny Pokemon on screen. This'll help those that aren't that familiar with Pokemon still find shinnies. Plus it has a decent story, lots of side content, and plenty of legendary Pokemon to capture.

So many new features in this installment of the pokemon series while still remaining true to so much of the older games. I'm an original fan since the Red and Blue version Gameboy days and also just a gaming fan in general -- this is exactly what the series needed. Catching pokemon is now fun and even challenging in certain scenarios not because of randomization/luck, but because you literally have to be good with your aim, timing, strategy in doing so. The new features and the 3D landscape make this feel like a brand new experience without losing the feel of what made the series great. Highly suggest.

Pokemon Legends Arceus is awesome! I am really enjoying the open world catching Pokemon and completing the Pokedex! It feels more significant having to do quests for each Pokemon. There are no Pokemon Gyms. Disappointing, however when playing I have not missed them. There are still trainer battles. I am really enjoying Pokemon Legends Arceus and definitely recommend it!

This is a really fun game, the open world is really enjoyable. Also catching pokemon without having to battle them is awesome.

REALLY great open world experience for the pokemon SAGA. I had played the previous pikachu and pokemon sword, they were Okay but it lacked the real open world feeling. this one is LEGIT 100% the one I was looking for. Lots of things to explore and missions to do. the pokemon battles are really great too. not sure what these critics are talking about.. it's worth it, I recommend hooking up to your 4k or 8k TV to feel the real experience

i'm about 2 hours in and i'm having a blast. this feels like breath of the wild added in pokemon. the starting area has pokemon free roaming everywhere for you to catch outright or battle and catch or battle to defeat. they can also charge at you, as well as run away. graphically it looks great. decent sized pokedex to fill up, tons of missions and side missions, as well as crafting items from things you find in the world. no regrets so far. seems like a game you can spend dozens if not a 100+ hours in if you want to.

Who doesn't love Pokemon. This is a great game. My son plays it for hours and it's one of his favorite games to play.

Pokemon Legends Arceus is a fun new direction of the Pokemon series! Catching and battling Pokemon has never been more enjoyable, especially for the first time in an open world setting. The graphics are not the best, but if you can get past that you'll be rewarded with one of the best experiences this series has had to date.

I bought this for my 8 y/o grandson. Andros was the salesman who assisted us and I can't say enough positive things about his assistance. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to gaming systems and was very patient and kind in tutoring me!

I cant stop playing. Help!. An amazing open world game. Finally something different snd unique. Ive been playing since blue & red and i loved how this felt different and fresh.

The future of Pokémon games. What a great change in pace and difficulty compared to the most recent titles. Fresh and new feeling, I hope they stick to this formula going forward.

I have been playing Pokémon since Red and Blue were released, so over the years I have been craving something a little more than the typical format. We got close a couple of times with the GameCube installments, and Let's Go may be the most original thing done to a remake.. but Arceus is something completely new and I am LOVING it. The game plays as a real life scenario with Pokémon, you run around and catch them and can even be attacked by them. This is truly my childhood dream, the most realistic Pokémon game yet.

For long time fans of the series, it will be a blast to play this entry. Think of Pokemon meets Breath of the Wild. The game still captures the fun of capturing and collecting a wide variety of pokemon, but it also captures the dangers of being alone in the wilderness surrounded by creatures that can very easily take you out. Personally. Therefore, you rely on your pokemon not only to harvest materials from the environment, but to also protect you from such dangers. You can also sneak and capture pokemon by catching them unaware, thus skipping combat entirely. I'm hoping for future games that follow this same gameplay formula.

This story is slightly different than the gym battle grind and is a pleasant experience. Would highly recommend!

Very different from your typical pokemon game, but it’s one of the best pokemon games out there.
