One of the BEST Pokémon games to have come out. It changed from the usual formula. Every game has its faults, but this one is well worth sinking hours into.

I love the new mechanics introduced in this game. It's fun that is open world and you can catch Pokemon in their habitats.

Great game and very different from other Pokémon games. A little harder than the other games but still approachable.

great addition to the series and expansion of the concept. a little tedious at times with the dialogue and so forth, but a genuinely challenging pokemon experience. no multiplayer battles (!?!?) is a huge bummer

Most fun Pokemon game I've played since I was a kid. It really made me feel like I was a young again and exploring a new world. The only downside is this game is not truly an open world experience but its close enough to to it to be enjoyed as one. The catching system in this game has been revamped. You no longer have to battle a pokemon to catch it. You can simply sneak up on one out in the wild and throw a pokeball at it. This game is all about catching them all so if you're up to the challenge this game is for you.

This game is great. I loved the old Pokémon games as a kid but they just aren’t exciting enough to hold my attention now. I love the open world concept and running into Pokémon as I travel across the maps. I always wondered why Pokemon didn’t attack people and now they do! I honestly thought I grew out of video games but this game has me staying up way too late each night because I don’t want to put it down. I was surprised the weekend the game released it sold out of every store around me so I had to order it from the site.

This game take everything you know about pokemon and flips it on its head in a very good way. Alotnis different in this fame to keep you engaged and wanting to grind and just experience the depth and the different approaches that they chose and they all work within the pokemon universe and paint an amazing picture. This will 100% be a game that fans will talk about for years to come.

Honestly, I'm having so much fun with this game. I'm enjoying it so much more than I did Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Sword. Although the visuals are lacking (compared to other open world games like BOTW or Xenoblade Chronicles), the gameplay more than makes up for it. I also really like how Pokedex research tasks require you to fulfill certain requirements rather than just catching the Pokémon and being done with it. All in all, it's a great change compared to the usual Pokémon formula and I am thoroughly enjoying it :D

This game extends the players' play reach with more active actions such just actually throwing a pokeball that we weren't able to do in Pokemon games until now, and implementing craftsmanship to actually create the pokeballs on the go. It's not really an open world game but players can wonder off in more open spaces compared to previous Pokemon games. Even after the main game there are several missions and requests to play. It's the perfect Pokemon game. Hopefully they relase more Pokemon games like this in the future.

This is quite possibly the best entry in the Pokémon series. Have been playing since RBY, and this game truly broke the mold on what this franchise can be.

A new spin on the Pokémon franchise, this game has a more openworld and freeroam setup then even the wild area of Sword and Shield. The only thing that prevents total exploration at the start of the game is the environment itself, and has a similar setup to the riding Pokémon in Sun and Moon. My only criticism is the world is very grey and boring, each of the first 4 areas look exactly the same. The last area looks different because it is covered in snow, but the mountains look like the rest of the areas.

I have the Switch for 2 reasons, games involving Mario and Pokemon games. This game follows the open world concept of Sword/Shield but with much more depth. Would highly recommend this game to any Pokemon fans as well as those who have no idea what Pokemon are. Buy this and don’t waste your money on Scarlet & Violet.

I found Sword/Shield disappointing, and had no interest in the Diamond/Pearl remakes. I was cautious and skeptical of Legends Arceus, and I'm so happy to be loving this game. It's not quite open world like many thought though. It's more akin to Monster Hunter, with large sections interconnected to a central hub zone. But running around tossing Pokeballs and fighting wild mons is so much fun. I can't say much else that watching reviews or Let's Plays won't. If you love Pokemon, you need to buy this game.

Arceus is one of the most engaging Pokemon games out there. It combines aspects of Monster Hunter and Pokemon Snap into a compelling experience. A lot of the action takes place against wild Pokemon. You have to use your own team to weaken them without knocking them out. Pokemon move based on their speed and the attacks they use. I recommend this game.

This game is so much different than the regular Pokemon and I love how it feels calm and not everyone is trying to fight me just because I walked the wrong way. They do want to fight when you advance in the mission but you can be like nah im good and continue catching Pokémon. Would recommend.
