Gotta be honest, when this game was announced and promoted via trailers, i thought the game looked empty and bland. So i avoided it... And ignored it.. until 10 months had passed and i decided to impulsively buy it. And i gotta say, this game is pretty amazing. I never knew this is what ive been longing for from a pokemon game, but it is. Please give this game a chance!

Being that this game was definitely rushed, it's still amazing and absolutely one of the best Pokemon games ever released. I have played almost every Pokemon game, but this one is so much different and it made me feel like I really need to catch them all. Much more mature too in my opinion. If you haven't played a Pokemon game in years because they feel like just repeats of the games before- Try this one out. It's a fresh start.

Fun game, pretty cool how you catch Pokemon in this game

This is my first pokemon game in Years and I could not put it down. My wife and I where both hooked right away. This is going to be one of the first pokemon games since pokemon started that I wanted to 100% finish.

Fun game. A great new twist to the Pokemon franchise. The open world take was executed greatly. It isn't Breathe of the Wild open world, but its almost there. If you love Pokemon games, this is a must play.

Spectacular game, huge world and very unique gameplay. Takes around 200 hours to beat the game.

Im in love with the game. It brings a new, fun story line with modern graphics to a beautifully designed world. While the game does not have all pokemon or traditional trainer battles, there are opportunities to catch tons of pokemon and interacting with other characters. The game isnt super difficult but has a ton of content to keep players busy and challenged.

Super awesome update to the old play style. Boss fights are actually challenging.

It’s very different from the regular formula of Pokémon games but what they did is very innovative and I hope they expand on this

This game is fun for the whole family. I love to spend hours hunting for Pokemon. We highly recommend it. It arrived fast and in perfect shape, too.

This is easily one of the best main series Pokémon games that has been released in the recent years. Although it has a few quirks (poor graphical fidelity and render distances, deviation from the traditional Gym Leaders/Elite Four/Champion formula, removal of Pokémon and moves, etc.), it is a breath of fresh air with the open world exploration and seamless transition between the overworld and Pokémon battles.

Love it, just love it. Very simple game play wise but the loop is addicting. I spent the first couple of hours just combing over the first area. That alpha snorlax that spawns in that one location? That pokemon stayed with me my entire playthrough because of the work I had to do getting it. 10/10 will play again

Great game and addition to the story lines. Worth the money

This game is rushed but all the new Pokemon games are. I wish that Nintendo would let their developers spend more time on their games to make them good. I like the non "main line" games more than the versions that come out with new regions every few years or so, they tend to have that excitement of exploring the Pokemon universe and ecology more than the main ones do, which I think is a core part of the series. The excitement of adventuring and discovering all the Pokemon of the featured virtual world is definitely felt. Hoping Pokemon makes more games like this and Pokemon snap.
