Currently my son’s favorite game to play. He loves being able to roam around and level up different pokemon characters. He’s 7 and it’s great for challenging his reading as well. The game has a ton of reading in it

I love the original set up of most Pokémon games (catching Pokémon and gym battles) but having played most of them I was happy to play a new and refreshing Pokémon game, while still keeping a lot of the aspects of what made the old games so fun. My only disappointment as of right now (which will most likely change) is the amount of Pokémon in the game. I would definitely recommend.

Arguably the best pokemon gave ever created. Order for pick up and bestbuy had it ready in minutes. Zero hasle picking it up.

Bought this when it first came out! This game really revolutionized Pokemon. I don't think any other pokemon game will ever be able to compete with this.

Its pokemon meets breathe of the wild. the game at its core is fun the graphics are well its pokemon. Best new entry to the series in a while ; cant wait to explore more

Great Game, different than the other Pokemon games but better in some ways!

There was so many similarities of Legend of Zelda it was uncanny. The text scenes for each of the Noble Pokémon, and just the all around RPG style is very Zelda-like. I would say this is a good precursor for Pokemon’s next game, which I feel like it will be more like the regular games with Gyms. But I think it has its own place. I am very happy with the game.

I purchased this for my son and he loves it. The Nintendo Switch has proved to be a great video game console, and they continue to put out great titles like this.

Good game. I like the open world concept and the story line. The game could have benefited from better map and quest system. Overall one of the best Pokemon games in ages

I was originally not planning to buy this game & bought it out of impulse. It turned out to be a phenomenal decision. The player has complete freedom when going out into the wild, & the pokemon themselves feel more alive than they have in a while. The graphics aren’t the best, but the experience is phenomenal, & is a step in the right direction for the franchise

Great graphics and I love the animation style, good story line so far

I have played many of the Pokemon games since I first played Pokemon Blue on my Gameboy, and this one was one of the best. They did great putting a spin on something as classic as the Pokemon series, while adding some new elements that ties in to the story of the Pokemon world. I actually stopped playing Pokemon Pearl because I would rather finish this game.

This is a great step for the Pokemon gaming genre to take, a step in the right direction. Only a shame it took game freak to do something of this scale this long. Hopefully this is the future and they can focus on graphics and framerate for future titles. With that said though, best pokemon game to date! Highly recommend, super fun and addictive to play.

I know at first glance the price might seem high especially during these times but it is so worth it the game developers truly put their heart and soul into this and it shows every frame. From its breathtaking graphics to the addicting gameplay that has you playing for hours, if you are a pokemon fan you will adore this game I can't wait to keep playing.
