Got this for my 8 year old and my teen is hooked. He says it takes him to his childhood and he loves the levels that it offers

Great game first time playing a Pokémon game and fulfilling my childhood dreams.

For the first time in awhile, I have felt like a kid again while playing a Pokemon game. Not that I haven't enjoyed the recent titles. This one just switches up the formula so much that my interest is captivated every time I play it!

Amazing update to the main series games. Open world lets you explore just enough so you don't feel like it's a straight line through the game. So much to do between shiny hunting, mass out breaks & filling the research pages.

Spent many hours playing Legends of Arceus, would recommend for everyone!

Different style of pokemon not for everyone but for all the pokemon lovers out there its def a try you have freedom of what you want and how you want to play

Sometimes I forget there is a plot--It's so fun to explore and catch pokemon! I also love that as you progress the plot, time actually moves forward and you can see changes in people you've previously talked to and places you've been.

Best pokemon game hands down on switch 2 letsgooooo

Been playing this non stop and having a great time. For those that like catching pokemon and completing tasks this is a great game for that. It’s not like the traditional games and brings a new feel.

For those stuck on the old Pokemon system, you will hate it. Beong the first game with the new style, it is amazong. Of course there is a lot of polishing that cam be done, but no company made a new style perfect on the first attempt.

Bought for my son for Christmas. He never liked the older style of Pokémon games but he likes this one bc it is more like and open world adventure

This is the beginning of what Pokémon will become. Love how you can just go around and catch pokemons. Graphic isn't the best but it's nintendo, you can't expect much on graphics. Gameplay wise it ran people well, I would say I didn't like how your pokemon dies so fast from weaker pokemon, I mean way under lvl. 50 vs 20 and you get destroyed. That's really my only gripe, overall its pretty fun.

One of the best Pokemon games ever. I had high expectations for this game, and it went beyond those expectations. The game is so fun and is replayable. Highly recommend it to any Pokemon fan or anyone who enjoys exploration games.

I bought this pokemon game for myself. It is now one of my favorite switch game because its different from the other games.

My son loves it and I secretly do too. It’s a cool game that isn’t too hard or complicated.

It's a pretty fun game. It's amazing you can walk around the map freely now. The wild Pokemon hang around the land, but it still feels so fake/programmed, like they'll just walk a 8 foot span or just idle there in the sky if they're flying type. Pokemon fans will absolutely love it, flaws and all.

I have been a Pokémon fan since red/blue came out. This is THE best Pokémon game ever. From the way you catch and create the Pokédex to crafting your own pokeballs. You will have a blast experiencing this new adventure for hours.

My son and I love this game! He is six so there was some difficultly with having to read a lot but he learned the game mechanics quickly and was able to play it well. We loved the open world design and storyline!

Never been a fan of the series but my son has been hooked for awhile. This is his favorite version. That’s good enough for my approval. It’s a kid friendly game and has all the quality you come to expect from a Nintendo game.
