Absolutely love the game, second time purchasing it even

Awesome adventure style Pokémon game that really changes the way you play! Love how the player gets to explore the beginning world of Pokémon.

My daughter got a switch for Christmas and received some games. She really wanted this game. She traded in a game & got this one. She loves it! She plays it all the time.

Amazing and refreshing delivery, i would like to add gyms to this but i clearly understood why there are not a single one in the gameplay, is breat of the wild for the pokemon series and im waiting for a new entry.

I like this game. I'm older and tired a lot but I'm able to play a couple of hours every now and then and jump in a few days later and still have fun. It's not complicated and a fresh take on the pokemon series.

This is what I have wanted since playing Pokemon Red/Blue on my GameBoy. The ability to walk around and capture Pokemon without battling. It just adds something special to a game I have played for 20 plus years.

First try at a pokemon game - i just cant get into the turn based mechanics of this game. Only thing i like is the semi open world and when you fight the boss pokemon it has some action where you throw some bean bags at it - but then it goes back to turn based combat. Just not the game type for me.

By far one of the best Pokemon games for the Switch!!!

Easisly the best pokemon game. The painfully boring experience that is Pearl/Platinum isnt here. The ability to just throw pokeballs without tedious battle grinds is a huge step foward.

Bought as gift for kid. No complaints from them, but looks of game seems very good. 3rd person view with lots of live action, interactive controls for catching/battling other pokemon.

Very fun game, they did great giving people the 3d overworld experience in pokemon and they did an amazing job.

Very nostalgic as I remember playing my game boy with a friend and seeing how Pokémon has evolved, this was a game us “older” folks wish we had years ago. Oh and my 7 year old loves this game too….

My son has been looking forward to this game. He just got it in his but the last couple of hours entertained. He enjoys playing this game as a distraction from his studies and uses it often when he takes breaks.

This game will challenge the best players in the world. The game is both fun and hard all at the same time. Once you start, you can’t put the game game. Shiny hunting is easy once you figure out the pattern.

Changes up the old formula of the traditional Pokemon series. Love being able to free roam and see the monsters I'm trying to catch. Nice to see how this connects to Gen 3.

This game is by far my favorite, I like how it is different from the other Pokémon games, the storyline is also good. It is also nice that you can capture both legendary Pokémon from pearl and diamond.

Best game for grinding & pokemon lovers. Would definitely recommend

Love this game, i have only played gen 1 games for the lost part but i still recommend this to anyone regardless of your pokemon knowledge level

The game is great. It's a fresh breath in the Pokemon series. It's genuinely fun to seek out and catch pokemon and to try to fill out your pokedex. Entering new regions and discovering new pokemon is exciting! It's held back by graphics which are at times distractingly bad. The landscape draw distance is poor and objects pop in as you run. Still a lot of fun. 8/10

The game has a good story line, well thought out, and is better on the switch due to portability.
