Everything about the old Pokemon Formula has been changed/upgraded. Legends Arceus is a more stand alone pokemon game which in a way makes it more playable/enjoyable, EV/IV has been replaced with a different system all together which given that there isn't PvP at least now at launch. Another change since there isn't another version of Arceus there is less reason to trade between games, while you still can, all pokemon are catchable in your single game without relying on another version for those that like to go for full completion. Even the battle system has had a new addition added to change up the previous "you go then I go" approach. The only downsides is graphicly the game isn't as "good looking" as other Switch titles that are open world. However, for a Pokemon game it's up there compared to the rest of the Pokemon games.

Such a great evolution of the classic gameplay loop. Tries out fresh ideas in a fun way.

Graphics are meh but gameplay is good this is also a good step forward for the series and a perfect taste of what is to come

Pokemon Legends of Arceus is such a great game! So much to do with lots of pokemon to catch! Highly recommend 10/10

Haven’t played much because of work but so far so good. Enjoyed Pokémon BDSP so this should be just as good, if not better!

Great big step for the pokemon series. Huge improvement from the last game. Makes you feel like a real pokemon trainer.

This is the best Pokémon since gold and silver. It isn’t perfect in terms of aesthetics and the graphics can basically be described as last gen. There are a few glitches here and there but overall the experience itself is very well thought out and there is plenty of things to do. I thought I would get bored with the core gameplay but I ended up spending 60 hours on the game, far more than any other game which were about 30th for myself. This one is worth it, give it a shot.

Preorded online. In-store Pick up was quick and easy. Game is a nice different pacing and style from other pokemon games.

This is a brand new step for mainline Pokémon games but I can’t overlook the things that hold it back like the empty open-world, janky frame drops and poor graphic optimization. If you can get past these issues, you will enjoy this game

I love this game, I play it everyday after work. So addicting and reminds me of the old Pokémon games but better.

This game is great, i have wnjoyed it so far! It is different from previous games but it is a much needed change of pace.
