A step in the right direction.

Quality is fair but potential is massive

I find this game to be the direction that I would like the franchise to go in but it's not quite there. The credits were short and looks like most of the work was making sure the pokemon themselves looked good, which they do! I did have fun but I'm not deaf to it's faults. Sound is it's biggest problem. Foley was basic, there is no sounds when a character talks which pulls me out and makes reading feel more of a chore. If another game like this came out I would buy it no question but I hope that Game Freak gives more resources to the team.
